Our thanks to Liane for sending us this picture of her
"Buccleuch Boys, Juke (sire Buccleuch Pepper), Solo (sire Buccleuch Pepper) and Gus (sire Buccleuch Victory)
All very loyal, biddable gundogs! Gus even still works on 3 legs!
Hope this makes you smile!"
Thanks Liane, it did.

I had hoped to make a few posts yesterday, but I discovered I was blocked from posting for 24 hours. This was the result of a post the previous day about a litter sired by our ESS stud dog Leo, now removed by Facebook. It seemed an innocent news item and did not promote puppy farming, but it went “against their standards on guns and animals”. Was a bit of a shock.

The first Galloway Country Fair since 2019 and it was great to be back. As has often been the case in previous years the forecast was not good for Saturday, but it turned out much better than expected and attendance was good as people were obviously pleased to be able to be out and about. Sunday was excellent with big crowds of happy smiling faces. Thanks to all who came and said hello, new faces and regulars including Chapel Farm stockists Monty Williams, Jim Fleming and Morton Muirhead.
