12 box yard with tack room and rest room to rent.
All 12 x 12 boxes. Shared used of 3 arenas and show jumps. Some turn out. £195 per month per box. Will split but would rather rent as a whole. Possible on site single accommodation.

Morning everyone.
This year we have decided to have a Christmas holiday. 😊
Lessons will run as normal on 21st and 22nd December.
Lessons will then resume as normal on 1st January.
Lessons missed during this period can either be made up or deducted from next months fee. Just message Ruth.
Thursday evening pole/ dressage club will start again for the new term from Thursday 2nd January for 7 weeks to include 13th February. (£350 for 7 weeks).
Please let Ruth know if you would like to join.

Silly me! it's Sunday 1st Dec!

We have changed the schedule for December.
(all those who had entered Nov Arena Eventing -will be refunded shortly)
The shows will not be qualifiers.
We are running them as simple fun show jumping rounds.
They won't be against the clock. All clear rounds will get a joint first, and we will proceed accordingly.
E.g. 2 clears = 2 joint clears. 2x 4 faults = 3rd place rosettes etc... 2 x 8 faults = 5th place etc etc.

I had amazing visitors yesterday including the very special Big Puppy, my brother, Bill and Amy.
It was so wonderful to see Big Puppy and give him a huge cuddle.
Thank you everyone who made this happen including all the great spinal team at JR Hospital who are doing an amazing job of caring for me.

Would love to say a huge thank you to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance who rescued me the other day. You were all fantastic and did an amazing job. Thank you for getting me very swiftly and efficiently to a great team here at the Spinal Injury Unit at John Ratcliffe Hospital. You made all the difference. Please give generously to support the Air Ambulance if you can. They made all the difference in such a horrible situation. Thank you so much.

Hi Everyone.
We will be doing a Thursday evening club, starting next Thursday. 4.30pm to 7 pm (1.5 hours ride). Will be pole work with a mind to improve both jumping and dressage. 5 weeks until 20th December (£200). If you have already paid for jump or dressage club, I may well owe you, so just let me know.

Hi Everyone. I am so sorry still no clubs this week, but we will run our Wednesday evening 5pm group.
Anyone on a club may swap their lesson to Wednesday if they wish but wil obviously refund all missed lessons or do replacements.

Hi Everyone.
I am really sorry but I had a very bad fall yesterday and am in hospital. All lessons are cancelled until Friday and hoping to sort something for the weekend but will post on here.
All school children will do CLTH as normal but no riding.

Our Arena Eventing shows from next weekend qualify for for this…

EARLY EVENTERS CHALLENGE QUALIFIERS

The Eventers Challenge Championships features classes from 50cm to 90cm.

From November 1st to December 31st, you can qualify at ANY venue holding Eventers Challenge/Arena Eventing classes by placing 1st-4th.

The class must include a combination of SJ fences and XC/rustic/WH fences, with a timed section.

IMPORTANT: Registrations & Recording of Results are not open yet. Once they open, you will have until the 31st January 2025 to complete both of these elements. We recommend that you keep a good record of your placings, so you complete the relevant forms by the deadline given. It is up to the competitor to ensure they have the correct information from the venue.

From 1st January onward, you can ONLY qualify at registered centres & clubs. (More info will be available on our website/socials later this year)

(You cannot use hunter trials, pure XC classes, or horse trials/eventing/ODE classes as qualifiers. Training classes, member-only classes and shows, affiliated classes, second rounds and championship classes are not eligible to use as qualifiers.)

The course consists of a mix of iconic Hickstead show jumps, (including the planks!) and natural, rustic obstacles (including water!). Each horse/rider combination can compete over 3 levels, and there is also the opportunity to enter open classes and clear round, (maximum of 3 eventers challenge classes per day).
