With the new year, comes a new opportunity. We are hiring!🙌🏼

We’re officially on the look out for a new team member to join us as a ‘Dog Care Worker’ part time here in Sheffield.🐾

Hours will begin as Monday-Wednesday with the potential to expand in the future.

Main responsibilities of this role include…
• undertaking morning and afternoon walks
• collecting and returning dogs to their homes
• working in our doggy daycare

We are also looking for an individual who is…
• a confident driver
• willing to work outdoors positively in all weather
• has experience working/volunteering with dogs
• is motivated to grow alongside the business with all its new ventures

We all teach our pooches recall and commands when they’re puppies, but did you know it’s still very important to reinforce this throughout adulthood and even into their older years!🐾

Why should we continuously reinforce recall and commands?

- it’s great mental stimulation for your dog
- it’s a bonding activity for you and your dog
- a strong recall keeps your dog and those around them safe

We recommend high reward treats for those pooches who can be a little slower or more stubborn, the dogs go crazy for liver paste!🤤

5 years ago I had Roxy and Rex (and Winnie) and we went for a walk around Forge Dam Cafe and back to mine for daycare. Then we went to visit puppy Orla. And then big Harry, Willow, and then Forest, Jack and Frida... and Sam's The Green Shop, lockdown 2020, and then the S6 Foodbank... along came Alfie! then Dana, and couple more vans, then Amy and Aimee. I could go on. but I have a meeting at 10 and a lot to do! a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us and been on this journey so far. We're ready for the next five year's adventure! Forest Dogs - It's In A Dog's Nature 😃

I loved Suzie. Suzie was my first dog when I was in my early teens. My mum and I adopted her a week or so after my dad left. I’m not going to publish anymore of my life story here... but back then, and more recently, dogs have played an important part in my life. So I understand what dogs mean to people. You can trust me when I say “I’ll look after your dog”.
