Anyone lost a Newfoundland / Tibetan Mastiff type dog in Wyke?

How cold is too cold for dog walks? Anything lower than -1° has the potential to be unsafe, especially for smaller breeds. Once the dogs get wet that risk gets even greater. We have cancelled some dogs today due to their breed and size, and those that are on the walks may not stay out for a full hour. We will take this day by day and will always have the dogs safety first.

If anyone needs emergency transportation to the vets today during this snowy weather please contact ourselves, or alternatively call West Yorkshire Pet Ambulance. The weather is starting to turn, it's getting very wet and rainy out there and will be getting colder the closer we get to winter. If your dog has a coat, jumper, or onesie please make sure you leave these out for me to put on your dogs when I collect them, thank you 🐶🐾
