As we head into warmer weather, ticks are becoming more active again. I always do my best to check every dog after our walks, but they can be sneaky and hide in hard-to-spot places like ears, armpits, or between toes.

Please remember to give your dog a quick check at home too, especially after walks in grassy or wooded areas. If you spot a tick and you're not comfortable removing it yourself, just let me know – I’m happy to pop over and help!

Together we can keep our furry friends healthy and happy this spring!

Another of our regulars has crossed over the rainbow bridge 😢 Millie hasn't been out on the group walks for a while as she slowed down in her later months and enjoyed a gentler pace of life, but we were called in when needed to check on her. How cold is too cold for dog walks? Anything lower than -1° has the potential to be unsafe, especially for smaller breeds. Once the dogs get wet that risk gets even greater. We have cancelled some dogs today due to their breed and size, and those that are on the walks may not stay out for a full hour. We will take this day by day and will always have the dogs safety first.
