Was Over the moon today Winning My Local Show The Royal Cheshire two years on the run. 🥂

I Arrived back from a successful show at The Royal Three Counties and put my sheep in my isolation unit then got to work washing my next show team ready for the Royal Cheshire Show.

It was tough having to wash nearly 20 sheep in the best part of a week with the poor weather but with help we managed it which I’m very grateful😊

I managed to win 4 of the 5 Classes I entered and went on to win Supreme Champion Valais & Reserve Supreme Champion & Champion Female & Champion Male.

It was a great show with some big classes and some very tough competition.

Congratulations to all the other competitors and it was great to catch up with everyone.

Big thanks to the Judge Gerallt Jones Valais Blacknose Sheep Snowdonia and Scott Taylor and all the Organisers of Royal Cheshire County Show who were very helpful and friendly making it a well ran show 🙏👍

So pleased to Win The Royal Three Counties Show for the second time. 🥂

I managed to win 5 of the 6 Classes I entered and went on to win Supreme Champion Valais and Champion Female & Reserve Champion Female & Reserve Champion Male It was a great show with some big classes and some tough competition.

It has been a week since our ram lamb was taken and with no sightings, or updates we are not optimistic he will be returned. It is however worth noting that Valais sheep are registered & DNA profiled so selling on for breeding will flag this. If you are buying please ensure that the paperwork is in order and if it is cheap there is a reason for it!
It’s been a horrible week for us but we have learnt and made relevant improvements to keep our flock safe. Thank you soo much to everybody for your support, kind words and messages they have helped so much ❤️

Thrilled with the Results at The Devon County Show.
I managed to win Supreme Champion Valais and Champion Male and Champion Female. It was a great show with some big classes and some tough competition,Congratulations to all the other competitors and lovely to catch up with everyone and share a few 🥂🍻. What an end to a great show season attending the Southern Show and today.

I only took 2 shearling Rams and was absolutely delighted to win Supreme Champion with one of my Rams Cheshire Jona.

2 Shearling Rams going in the Southern Show and Sale at Worcester, both are bred off Maximum points sheep with great wool and conformation. Lot 40 & 41 and the sale is online and if anyone is successful buying one I’m happy to take him home and sort delivery or collection. 👍

This Ram lamb Cheshire Konrad is heading to the Northern stars show and sale. He’s pure Swiss genetics and has Maximum points in his pedigree with grandfather Highland Eric.

He was graded at BB23 1 point off a maximum and was second in a tough class. He has fantastic wool and great conformation and would be a good addition to any flock.

Can’t believe this time last week we attended our annual Black Beauty’s Show and Sale and it’s another 12 months before we get to do it all again 🥲

Pleased to say we had a good show and when graded I Received
2 sheep with Maximum Points
6 sheep just 1 point off Maximum

🏅Shearling Ewe Class Jo-Malone
🏅Ram Lamb Kingfisher
With some tough competition and some fantastic sheep on show.

Also Big thanks to the 3 Graders who had a tough job having to grade 200 sheep giving a total of 21 maximums showing how challenging it is to breed a Maximum points Valais Blacknose Sheep.

Big well done to all the other breeders who attended and got some fantastic results 👏👏and to the Female Champion bred by Valais Blacknose Sheep Lakeland- Moorahill Flock and Reserve Champion bred by Ayrshire Valais Blacknose 🏆🏆

It was great to catch up with all the other breeders and share a few beers and I look forward to seeing you at the next show 👍🍻

It was a great end to my weekend achieving a new British Record with my Stock Ram Cheshire Incredible Hulk selling in the Auction for 18000gns. I will miss the big lad and wish his new owners well with him Vale View Valais Blacknose 🥂🥂

Absolutely thrilled that my stock Ram Cheshire Incredible Hulk has gone and smashed the British record price at The Black Beauty’s Show and Sale 2023 achieving 18,000gns in the Auction Harrison & Hetherington making him the most expensive Valais bought in the UK.

This Ram has done me proud achieving Maximum Points last year winning a large class and also winning his class this year. He’s achieved and won so many classes in the last 2 years and Supreme Champion at the Royal Cheshire this year.

I wish the new owners Vale View Valais Blacknose lots of luck with him and hope they breed some futures champions off him.
