Fun Friday - Celebrating Chase's 2nd Birthday! 🥳🎈

What better way to celebrate a birthday, than a pool party with friends! Chase turns 2 tomorrow, so we celebrated a day early. He had the best time, doing all things he loves most; playing with friends, swimming, fetching the ball and eating 💩🙄 Chase was so tired after his super fun birthday treat to end the week and thanks everyone for joining him! Harley and Wilbur were so happy to be joining in with the fun and got super carried away playing ball. Wilbur forgot he wasn't bred for swimming and insisted on getting a ball in the water, which was impossible! So with plenty of encouragement, he left it for Chase to collect and he came back to the shallow. Harley managed to have a good game of tug with the ball, which resulted in a broken ball by the end of it 🤣 Bonnie was just happy to be there today, dipping her paws, foraging in the bushes and squiggling around in the grass. Hunter was on a real sniff today, purposely avoiding the lake and making the most of being able to get stuck deep into all the smells. Meanwhile, Tilly showed off some brief swimming today and I was so proud of her. The urge to get the ball was too strong today and she went in the deep end a few times! 🙌🏽💦

Friday solos!

First up, Miss Amber who was lucky to be out early enough this morning for a little stroll to the green before the intense weather! She enjoyed a good sniff and we sat in the shade watching the busy bees at work before heading back.

Both Sooty & Bailey, were super pleased to see me - racing about ready for a walk however, soon realised it was a cuddle session instead! Sooty pulled all sorts of faces as she rolled about demanding her belly to be stroked. We played lots of go find games and stuck to the cool indoors. Bailey and I enjoyed some time in the cool shaded part of the garden. Bailey tried his hardest to get me to play and chase him so we had a little game but soon stopped! Bailey was all smiles today and enjoyed a good cuddle also!

Thirsty Thursday 👅🥵

What a hot hot day! Early out this morning, hiding away in the woods. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a very slow stroll, sniffing their way round. Hunter and Rosie got stuck deep into the sniffs and both raced super fast to catch up with us. Their noses were to the ground the whole walk. Rocco needed some encouragement to move away from some of the scents he found, as they were clearly very delicious and needed a lot of investigation 😂 Chase and Dexter did their sniffing through the woods, but opened up in the field for a brief zoom around together, playing beautifully ❤️

My second group and I needed water to play in and that's just what we did! Straight into the stream for a good splash about. Wilbur led the way of course, trying his hardest to spend as much time in the water instead of using the pathways. He only really got out when he needed to get round the deeper sections. Bonnie and Tilly were more than happy mooching the pathways and dipping into the stream whenever they fancied a cool down. Bonnie even joined in some of the water play with Margot and Ace. Margot was in her element, splashing around as much as she possibly could. Ace found himself a little log, but Margot managed to pinch it and was adamant it wasn't going to be stolen back 😂 Ace was a sprightly boy today, dipping and diving around in the stream, searching the pathways ahead and flying back for goodies! 🐬💦

Hump Day Wednesday, with no humps! 🐪

This morning's team had a blast in the orchards, making the most of all the sniffs and splashing about in the stream. Clyde worked his nose super hard today, needing plenty of encouragement to keep up. He made me laugh in the stream as he just stood there, taking it all in! Bonnie had plenty of squiggles today, she was so happy trotting around sniffing and munching grass along the way. Wilbur remained sensible today, not rushing his walk and enjoyed a leisurely stroll beside me and kept his energy for the water! Tilly and Wilfred definitely had a tag team situation going on between them, as the pair combined on walks insist on circling at my feet trying to break me down to get the ball out - I will not be beaten! 😂

My second group and I thoroughly enjoyed our mooch along the footpaths down to the stream for a group splash about! Margot was so happy, her legs were throwing all kinds of shapes today from the get go. She is certainly a water baby, as it's hard to keep her out of the water! Wilfred had a great time dipping and diving into the stream, being chased around by Margot and Chase. He found himself a big log to carry for some time at the start, but did leave it behind thankfully, as my legs couldn't take anymore beatings from it 😂 Gracie was such a happy girlie today, showing off her zoomies on several occasions, particularly in the stream! Those legs can definitely move quickly, getting everyone involved in the racing around. Hunter worked his nose hard today, loving the adventure and had to race to catch back up each time. He had a dip in the stream, before heading off into some games with the gang. Chase was lively as ever today, whizzing around non-stop. If someone was racing about, he was right there with them joining in. He had a blast in the water bouncing around with everyone hunting for an imaginary stick! 🤣

Tongue out Tuesday 👅

This morning the team and I took a slow stroll round the fields as the temperature caught us off guard today! We found some shade and enjoyed plodding along in the dewey grass. Chase and Harley had some fun whizzing about after the ball in the field, which set Dexter, Hunter and Whisky off with the vocals and racing up behind them just enjoying the zooms! Meanwhile, Rosie had a brief dive into the play, but thought better of it and stuck with me instead. They all enjoyed plenty of sniffs along the way, as well as Rosie managing to tangle her tail in brambles, which required team effort from us both to get it out. She was extremely proud once it was off! ✨

My second group had the best time in the woods, keeping out of the sun and finding the water instead. Wilfred and Tilly stalked me like a pair of piranhas today, swaying around in front of my feet for most of the walk. Thankfully they both got distracted by the stream and enjoyed splashing around instead! Wilbur was in his element as always, spending the majority of the walk trotting up and down the stream. Ace and Red were extremely fond of the treats on offer today and miraculously, their listening skills were on point! They had lots of fun whizzing back and forth. Bonnie enjoyed a good swim today, along with working her nose through the trees, squiggling in the long grass and making new friends along the way 🥰

Tuesday Solos!

Lots of smiles from the boys today!

Dexter was super switched on today! He showed some wonderful focus and check ins even around a bird which made me jump! He really showed he was committed to please!

Bailey and I enjoyed a walk through the crops and luckily found the shade just as the sun came beating down! He was all about his nose today following it down every other path and then racing to follow me.
