What a year of wonderful walks! It’s probably been the wettest year of Vale Dog Walking since we started in 2018, just one soggy sock away from trench foot 🤣 but…

It’s still the best job in the world, whatever the weather!!!! ..and luckily I quite like weather
🌪️☃️🌨️❄️💨⛅️☀️

Me and my pals have walked over 2,500 miles in 49 weeks in ‘23, around 6,125,000 steps give or take a soggy step!
And I wonder why I’m permanently knackered 😴

We’ve made some wonderful new friends, and sadly said goodbye to some lovely pals….

It’s now time to put the leaky wellies to one side until next year!

Happy Monday!

I must admit, occasionally a dog walker’s mind can wander in the early afternoon! It’s both wonderful and probably a little bit unhealthy to spend quite so much time chatting with pooches, with little human contact 🐶🐶🐶

Having said that, 35 years spent in nursing and social care meant I was probably overdue some time for reflection and silliness. 🤣

So Monday afternoon’s topic of doggie conversation? Obviously, characters sharing the same name as my furry friends…all of these are regular pals of mine. Bit of a quiz!
