Zack 🩵
Great to catch up with Zack last night. It was about a year ago since his initial assessment and he’s been busy in the mean time!
One of the recommendations that came of the session was to seek the expertise of the fabulous team at Vet Rehab NI. His front leg had been injured and he had a rough time recovering with it.
Fast forward to yesterday and I don’t think I would have recognised him if I’d had walked past in the street! He’s lost about 8kg body weight and built up his leg, so that there was no sign of any lameness or pain 🙌🏻 What a difference the Physio and Hydrotherapy has made to this boy! A big shout out needed for all the team and his very dedicated owners.
He’s now ready to begin some training and learn how to settle himself on walks. Especially around other dogs who he had developed some reactivity towards after some negative experiences with them.
What a turn around so far 😀
Buddy car work
Love getting to catch up with Buddy 🩵
Buddy had spent some time in rescue before he met his amazing owners. They are dedicated to providing for his every need!
We were working on introducing a car ramp to him. He can easily jump in and out at present but we wanted to ensure he is comfortable with a ramp for when he reaches his more senior years.
Buddy has had a complicated relationship with travelling in the car, to the point of even showing some aggression getting out or point blank refusing to go near the car altogether.
Lovely to see him take the ramp in his stride. I think he may have been watching the Crufts agility competitions for inspiration! lol
Well done Buddy
Cody is loving his training and making some huge progress!
As well as everything in the video, it’s just so rewarding for me to see the relationship with his family strengthen, including Hercules - the older schnauzer in the house, who without a doubt is enjoying Cody’s company more 😀
Cody’s guardians have been top class and have dived into the training plans, making the most out of every session… he didn’t even bark when I knocked the door today!
Well done!
Thanks to Drumlister Tails Dog Training NI for the referral 🙂
Nova in the Mournes
Nova was trying to re-arrange the summit of Bearnagh last week!
You’d think she’d be tired enough after that climb😂
Had the pleasure to meet little Cody last night, what a cracking little schnauzer! 🙌🏻
He can be challenging at times but his guardians have raised a happy, confident and well loved little man.
Looking forward to seeing how he progresses with his plans 😀
