Radnage House Stables are supporting Emmets Genies.

This charity provides a 24 hr event at Stoke Madiville Stadium to give children with terminal or life limiting conditions and their families a chance to build memories together. Many of them won’t get a another chance.

The event aims to provide a whole year of fun in a day and an opportunity to enjoy missed special occasions. In just a day the celebrations include Valentines, Guy Fawkes, Easter, Summer treats, as well as Christmas. The event is on 13th September and is for children from this area.

Last year RHS donated presents for “ Christmas morning” from the childrens wish list. This included the promise of a pony day (sadly the recipient was never well enough to attend) but the pony did write to her in hospital and send rosettes. We also provided a liquid treat for all the parents once the children had gone to bed on “Christmas eve”.

This year we are taking ponies for cuddling, kissing and grooming in the “summer”. ( Jill Webb also providing a pony). Although ponies are good and could do rides - the insurance is too much. Just cuddling ponies is going to cost the charity £255. For those of you that noticed the Guy Ritchie film here - they are supporting too. We have autographs (Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike, Anthony Hopkins) to sell, a film preview planned for next year and hopefully props to auction.

Thank you for your support so far, the church has already donated, clients and fellow horse folk in village giving time, transport and ponies….

Searching for teenagers first horse.

Lovely neat rider light weight girl coming off pony and looking for next one up. Partner needs to be 15.2-16hh sensible and fun and enjoys all riding club activities but especially eventing. Superb 5* home on professional yard with lots of support awaits. Healthy budget.

Hugsy is a 6 year-old bay ex racer who raced very little as he was not the fastest!

Has been to clinics, placed in unaffiliated dressage competition, the gallops, cross country schooling, sponsored hacks etc. He is jumping up to 60cm with novice owner (hasn't been pushed to higher). Brave XC jumping ditches, water, skinnies banks etc. Good to clip, shoe and load, travels well. Has just had a thorough vet check and is very sound.

He is usually very relaxed but can be fresh around spring time. He would be a lovely horse to produce for a confident rider who can give him consistent work. The current owner lacks experience and time, hence this heartbreaking sale.
