Our next group starts on the 3rd November. Run by our fantastic Registered Vet Nurse Nicole Crooks BSc(Hons), DipCABT, NCert(AnBeh).
These classes are designed to build your puppies confidence with fun games that help your dog in the outside world. Places are limited so please book your place ASAP by calling 01252 542121. Puppies must be between 8-14 weeks old on the 3rd November to be able to attend.

Warm days coming up, make sure you walk early or late or enjoy a day off and train at home to avoid the heat 💕😍

Whilst we would normally only think of protecting against thunderstorms in summer we must consider the high probability of fireworks this coming week. Please make sure your pets microchip details are up to date. Your pets are walked and safely inside before dark and you have appropriate measures in place, be this hiding holes, loud music, medication or similar. Please enjoy the celebrations but keep your pets in mind and stay safe 💕

Puppies, adorable right? 😍
A tired puppy is a good puppy
An over tired puppy is a struggle!
Please remember how much sleep these little guys need. 18 hours average sleep/rest for our little ones. How hard is that when we are working from home.
I am a believer in the safe and appropriate use of crates and/or pens for this situation.
1. You can enforce rest when your puppy is tired. Puppies have huge FOMO! They will do anything to keep themselves awake, often inappropriate behaviours such as digging, biting, stealing etc
2. A safe space, somewhere for your pup to call their own and rest without being disturbed
3. At some point in your dogs life they will have to spend time in kennels. Vet, neutering, X-rays etc? Imagine how stressful that would be if your dog has never had exposure to confinement 😳
There are so many more reasons I can give you but these are my top tips!

The past year has been a challenge for sure. We will continue to offer 121 sessions into 2022 abs Puppy Prep school classes as and when Covid restrictions allow.
