Well done to all the pups & handlers who braved the October weather and attended the club's weekly puppy course at Hartlebury near Kidderminster.
Thank you to Janet Watkins & Jon Roe for providing the training and to Debbie & James Bakewell for providing the venue.

Training Day for WGDS Spaniels with Bob Aldenton & Natalie Cannon
Date: Saturday 24th August 2024
Time : 9.30am for 10am start – 3.30pm approx.. Please bring a packed lunch.
Location : Long Itchington ( full address to be given with final details)
Level : Novice to Advanced.
Group sizes : 2 x 7 dogs.( All handlers will run under both trainers during the day.)
Cost : £55 members : £65 non members ( 1 dog per person)
KC Working Gundog Certificate using Dummies; will also be available during this day This will cost an additional £10 and must be booked and paid for by Wednesday 31st July 2024

Well another fabulous AV Spaniel Working Test yesterday at the amazing Brockhill Shooting Grounds the weather was perfect and the ground was in great condition apart from a few boggy rides and proved ideal for testing the 22 novice and 16 open dogs who were competing.
We were delighted to have James and Claire Starkey as our Judges for the day and would like to thank them for giving us their time and for all the enthusiastic advice and encouragement they gave to our handlers throughout the day.

The team of stewards, several of whom, were at their first ever test! did the club proud with all their hard work parking, marshalling, dummy throwing, pistol shooting and a myriad of other behind the scenes jobs so thank you all for giving us your invaluable help without you guys there would be no tests so we all appreciate your contribution.
And an enourmous thank you to Jan on the Spaniel Working Test who despite being single handed (Marjie was unwell and we wish her a speedy return to health)
has spent many, many hours sorting everything out long before, during, and after the actual day thank you both very much.
As always we must mention our sponors who support our sport and training in many ways for their donations and prizes.
