Dodger is enjoying a diaphragm release with an indirect myofascial release technique. This extremely gentle manual therapy unwinds the connective tissue called fascia and helps balance the body.

Dodger sustained a back injury jumping from height and landing funny. This had caused his fascial system to go into protective mode and as a result, restricted his breathing and core muscle activation. He was feeling so much better after just one treatment!

Handsome Bruno is recovering from IVDD surgery and has taken huge leaps forward in just a few short weeks!

Did you know that French Bulldogs are famously prone to spinal issues? The conformation of their spine puts pressure on the intervertebral discs, which predisposes them for disc degeneration and injury.

Targeted strengthening and exercise adaptations can help prevent injury. Once the spinal injury has happened, early physiotherapy intervention is key to good recovery.

This handsome chap (the one on the left) is Rupert.
He is a rescue beagle and he is having physiotherapy for a hip subluxation (partial dislocation) and a disc prolapse.

His physiotherapy includes pain management with LASER therapy and manual therapies and progressive strengthening exercises for his core and back legs. We have worked hard to get him from completely frightened to approach me to happy and relaxed during the sessions.

During the course of physiotherapy, Rupert has been able to go back to his normal walks, jumping on the settee and executing his usual mischief. In general, he is a much happier and more comfortable little man!

The car is back as good as new (or better)! Thank you so much to everyone who had to have their appointments rescheduled on some of the busiest weeks of the year.

And special thanks to Dan at in Yardley, who sorted _everything_ in under a week and even delivered the car to my front door!

Now it's time to take a breath and prepare for a great new year ✨️
