Our Story

We believe that every dog deserves to enjoy a wholesome, British-made bowlful, every single day. That’s why we created Butcher’s to give your dog the goodness they need, with delicious recipes that are made with only natural ingredients from British and Irish farms. You won’t find any nasties in our recipes – no artificial additives, no wheat gluten, and no palm oil. Just food full of good stuff, to nourish them like they nourish us.

Butcher’s began with a pair of Bakers – Fred and Alice Baker, that is – and the butcher shop they opened in Rugby, Warwickshire. Their youngest son, Graham Baker, used his in-depth knowledge of meat to create a recipe for dogs that was as delicious as it was nutritious, using nature’s most nourishing, natural ingredients. The rest is history, and we’re still driven by Graham’s determination to provide only the best food for every dog, every day.
