Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Registered Charity No. 1013212 In 1993 The Saluki Welfare Fund gained Charity status. It exists to facilitate the welfare of the breed and to care for and rehome Salukis that have fallen upon hard times whether that be from simple misfortune or cruelty.
Saluki Welfare is the safety net for those Salukis in trouble and like all rescue organisations depends greatly on help and financial support for maintaining, fostering and rehoming these wonderful creatures. All Salukis should have a comfortable and caring home.
As well as rescue activities we aim to provide a support network for breeders and owners. Should you be having health or behavioural problems with your Saluki, we will assist if we possibly can.
Alongside the Saluki Welfare Fund, there are two other clubs to which most Saluki owners in the UK belong. The breed clubs - Saluki or Gazelle Hound Club (SGHC) and the Northern Saluki Club organise shows, run seminars, produce publications, and generally promote the Saluki as a sporting and show hound as well as a fine companion. The Saluki Welfare Fund greatly appreciates the support these clubs provide to the cause alongside the many adoring owners and rescuers who follow and support our work.
