A very long and very cold day at Keysoe Premier show was rewarded yesterday. Delighted that Honey (Sweet Delight) qualified for the Special 128/138 Handicap at POYS. They came 2nd in a really competitive class not bad for only their second show together. Eddie went to his first Premier show and jumped round like a professional having just one rail in the 11 and unders. He was looking uber clean and white thanks to his bath in Aqueos shampoo on Friday 😀

Just back from a great weekend at Arena UK. Blue was as amazing as ever just having an unlucky pole in the special. New ride Honey (Sweet Delight) was fab, loads of double clears and red rosettes, not bad for having only sat on her a couple of times before! Toffee (Springcroft Caliph) well what a complete star. He qualified graham Heath and came 2nd in the Special Handicap to qualify for POYS. A real testament to hard work this adorable little guy jumped his heart out this weekend. A good day at Rockhampton EC yesterday, with Oscar and Eddie qualifying for the Springboard Championships (so that's 3 ponies now qualified for Springboard) and the one and only Blue winning both classes at his first outing since Liverpool International. Very pleasing day indeed. Well done Oscar the hard work always pays off in the end!

We are still on cloud nine after Oscar and Corinne Collins fantastic win in the Mini- Major at Liverpool International last weekend. What a fabulous show, it really put the magic back into showjumping. Huge congratulations to Nina Barbour and her amazing team for such a hugely successfull show in every way. Really enjoyed it can't wait for Bolesworth.

We had a great half term week full of shows and riding. Kicked off with Arthur who only started riding 3 months ago coming 6th at his first show on Val his young 14.2hh. This was a real achievement for both horse and rider and I couldn't be prouder of them both.

Then it was off to Spooktacular where we had a mixed show - lots of placings and some very late nights! The Halloween fancy dress pairs was great fun but sadly a couple of change overs didn't go to plan. The ride and bike was a highlight with little Oscar coming 7th out of 90 starters. Well done too to Harry Brown who was 2nd - him and Oscar I believe were the youngest riders in the top 10!

This Saturday's clinic is filling up fast we have one space left at 2pm and one at 3pm. Rectory Farm near Cirencester is a fabulous venue and this is a great opportunity to jump round a course of fences under the watchful eye of an International Showjumper and 4* Event rider. CLINIC UPDATE
Due to a couple of last minute cancellations there are still a couple of places left on our course jumping clinic at Rectory Farm this Saturday with Fiona Hobby.

Fiona is a 4 star event rider and International Showjumper with 20 years of experience. She is a patient and intuitive coach and is known for building confidence and bringing out the best in both horse and rider, helping to produce those all important clear rounds. We had a lovely unexpected surprise this weekend, taking new pony Springcroft Caliph to jump the Winter qualifier at Moores Farm. Having come equal 1st in the Springboard he than sadly got a bit quick and had a couple of rails in the Winters. As it was not too huge we decided to jump the lovely Blue (Little Blue Peep) in the class and .......he won!!! Can't believe it we are so proud of this little pony - only 12hh and he is just awesome! Here he is doing his stuff at Scope back in August.

What a lovely post from Debbie Crapper, who had a fabulous result this weekend at Dauntsey. Not ridden for 9 years, 4 kids later, we find her lovely 5 year old and she goes and gets a 26 dressage and comes 7th in the BE100 at Dauntsey! Brilliant - and we've had such a laugh getting there!

'Just wanted to say that Fiona Hobby from Regal Equine Consultancy has helped me immeasurably with my riding this year. She has the patience of saints, a great sense of humour and knowledge when it comes to horses and ponies that few posses. I believe she has space in her yard and can't recommend her highly enough for any equine training. If anyone out there feels like learning, improving and having too much fun, I'd get in touch! Best fun I've had in ages 😄😄'

Took Red and Ralph to Rectory Farm today and wonderful Red did it again! 3rd in the Newcomers then an easy win in the 1.15 this fab horse really has come on in leaps and bounds. The lovely Ralph jumped a fantastic double clear in the Newcomers and had an unlucky pole in the Foxhunter. This super horse is for sale and will be snapped up soon he is so scopey, careful and honest.

Fantastic weekend at Moores Farm junior BS, 2 ponies qualified for the Springboard Final and with new ride Springcroft Caliph he won his first ever Winter 128 qualifier! How exciting! Thanks to Jo Drayson and Dolly Drayson for the ride on this gorgeous little pony, and to Moores Farm for a really enjoyable, friendly show.

This year we have sourced a number of ponies and horses for clients all of which are going really well. We would like specifically to say a huge well done to Hattie Blokland for coming 4th in the Hickstead Schools Championships after only a few months with her new pony, they have both learnt so much and come so far in a short time. Also to Debbie Crapper who completed her first BE100 with a superb double clear on the promising 5 year old we sourced for her earlier in the year. If you are looking for a new horse or pony please do get in touch we have access to some lovely horses and can offer expert advice.

Good day for lots of connections to Regal Equine yesterday. Firstly young Red (High Velocity Vega) jumped his socks off and ended up 2nd in both classes yesterday qualifying for the National Championships at Stonleigh. He looked super smart in his Kate Negus bridle too. Well done to Elaine Tragett on her young horse Bold Maid sourced by us, who jumped double clear in her first event, Rosie Hutchins was making huge progress with her event horse and had a great day showjumping, and not forgetting Harriet Martin who after a small blip a few weeks ago is now back to form with the help of a bit of training from yours truly. Good day we think :)
