A lovely review

I can highly recommend this place. The set up is absolutely amazing. The staff are really lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. And the fact a vet owns it sealed the deal for me.
These guys care about our little guys ❤️
I’m sick of ‘all the gear no idea’ places. And some of the lines I’ve heard.. “Well I do love the animals and look after them but I also work full time so they’re left out, unsupervised, but don’t worry, we’ve never seen a fox”
“Oh I’m fully flexible but you can only come between 6-8pm because I have a baby”
“Well I’ve never actually owned rabbits but I set my business up in Covid as I was bored”
I can leave my pets here, and go on holiday knowing they’re in safe hands and you can’t get better than that. 🥰

We get a large number of requests for work experience and would like to help as many people as we can.
Unfortunately we can’t offer long term places but have week long placements available in school holidays.
These placements are available to students in year 12 and above.
We care for rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, tortoises, rodents and reptiles

I hate to write a post like this, I am sorry.

We offered to take 4 rabbits from a severely neglectful hoarding case at the weekend. Due to the severity of conditions, we ended up taking 6.

For just vaccination and neuter costs alone, these 6 will cost us over £1000, before considering the extra care and treatment these rabbits will need.

After our initial post on these rabbits we received £39, we have since had a further £30 donated. The gratitude I feel towards those who have donated is huge, but we need more of you.

I struggle to consider a future for the neglected rabbits in this country when we can raise just £11 per rabbit. The numbers aren't adding up and it makes the future feel very scary and uncertain for these rabbits who need us.

It is with sadness that we must plead. If you can spare £1, it will be spent on these rabbits. If you can't lose £1 right now, we understand, can you please share this post and our reel from earlier today, showing where these rabbits came from?

Together we can make a difference, we have to believe that.

Another lesson on WHY NEUTERING IS SO IMPORTANT.
Florence is 6 years old and was only just spayed in November after being surrendered. She was found with a tumour that was confirmed to be Cancer. Luckily it hadn't spread to other areas. Before she was spayed she had mastitis.
Today she went back to the vets to find out what the mammory gland lumps were that have formed since her surgery. At the moment she is not in pain, they arnt red or inflamed... We arnt 100% but as it affects all her glands we think it is hormonal related.

This will now be monitored and we hope that as her hormones settle so will they.
Please please neuter your rabbits. It's not only to make sure they don't reproduce or help with behavioural problems, it has numerous health benefits too!! This WOULD NOT have happened if she was neutered when young.
