All is well and he arrived safely.

Super grateful he’s healthy and happy. Our life is now filled with nappies, Mr Tumble and wrestle sessions with the pram 🫤, but we’re loving it.

We miss Frank but we talk about him and play with his toys ALL of the time 💜

Thank you for all of the well wishes and if you see me wandering around Hillmorton…come for a walk! 😂

Now we’re off for a bedtime bath, supper than sleep time as it’s swimming tomorrow 😊😇😘

And yes. I’ll be asleep before 9pm but that’s how I roll nowadays 😎

I’m still here for all of my lovely dogs who I’ve worked with over the last few weeks. Signing off officially in a couple of weeks.

I’ll be hanging up my dog training lead for a while whilst I take a bit of time off to hang out with our new addition. 💜

Not the pig…I did ask but he’s happy where he is 😂

So thankful to everyone who’s come along to a class, a social session, a play session, a walk, 1:1 training or let me spend time with them. 😊

Last walk with this little beauty today and what a nice day for it! ☀️ ☀️☀️ I’ve been lucky enough to know Harvey for a few years now and he’s been a total delight always.

Even went to school with me to help the pupils learn all about dog safety and communication! 🏫 💜

Will miss you bud and thank you to you and your lovely Mum for the presents. Very kind of you both!

Will end up stalking you at some point I’m sure so I’ll just say see you later…💜💜💜🥰🥰😘😘😘

💔 Heartbroken doesn’t quite come close, but we’re crushed to say that we lost our lovely boy Frank last week 💔

He was in his senior years but kept going right up until he got seriously poorly seriously quick.

We’re so chuffed that he let us take him home from Dogs Trust all those years ago and since then he’s filmed endless training videos with me, practised every class exercise I’ve ever done and been the one sole reason I even started to stick my head in a dog training book and know that there was a better way to train these beauties.

Yep we’re crushed but also have to be super grateful that he was with us in the first place.

Thank you to everyone who’s been really lovely to me, including lovely Jane who’s been a star at classes and also Steve who’s looked after me even though he’s crushed too. Literally picking me up when I’ve needed it.

Think I’ll miss you everyday Frankles.

Already miss the daily carrots alfresco in the garden.

Miss the morning snoring when usually you were the big spoon 😂

Miss the dog hair, the noise of you sleeping and literally everything else that came with having a Collie crossed with something 💜

Whenever these guys test your patience or frustrate you, embrace it and tell them they’re great. The time they’re with us goes past in the blink of an eye.

How to walk with ZERO pulling…(tell me what you think) 👇

✅ teach them to walk by your side at home first before you head out around all of those lovely distractions. Miss this step and you’re work load will be tripled.

✅ make it simple and tell them when they’re doing it right. If they don’t know this, how can they learn what you want them to do?

✅ stop pulling their lead to teach them to stop pulling the lead. Yeah, that ones as obvious as it sounds.

Does your dog bark in the garden? BEST thing you can teach them to do? Lay and settle on a mat/blanket ANYWHERE 💜 Especially great for summer when snoozes and chilling out in the garden become the norm. Teach them how to do it then take that mat everywhere with you. To the pub. To a cafe. In the car. Someone else’s house. Garden. On holiday. Anywhere your dog goes and you need them to chill 💜 Frank can now sleep anywhere, anytime. See the comments for proof! 😂👇

How old do you reckon lovely Ernie is?! We had him setting on his bed, pretty much off lead and doing fabulous recall the whole time and oh yeah, we were in the middle of the park with dogs all around us! He is only just 4 months old! 💜💜 Already smashing recall and coming back like lightning. He says hi to dogs, even big dogs really politely but yep, will play if he’s asked too 😂 He’s been settling on a mat in the middle of the field and staying there whilst there was chaos around him. He is a little superstar and helps me stay flexible when I’m bending down to say hi to him! He’s just finished some pup sessions and quite frankly he’s made very light work of it. Reason? He’s got an awesome Mum and family to help him. He’s been learning this stuff outside where we need it to work…so it’s been working. All my sessions and training classes are outside if possible for this exact reason. Well done handsome! Enjoy your hols 💜

Socialising your dog is one of the TOP things you can do that will set them up to be one of those super happy, friendly and well behaved sort of dogs 💜 Have a pup? Have a dog who would LOVE to hang out with others? Our social club is for you. It’s for dogs aged over 3 months who would love some time to hang out at our field. We’ve got… Tyres to climb on. Balance beams to fall off. Jumps to go ‘over’ (realistically under) 😂 Tunnels. Ball pool. Toys to play with. Games to play. Oh yeah and other dogs to hang out with. Plus tons more. Fancy coming? Do you have a family member with a dog? Knowing your dog and theirs get on like a house on fire is something I’m often asked about because it’s always AWESOME knowing you can all hang out together without worry. That’s why this video is soooooo epic. Lotty walking with her big buddy Koda. Without playtime, wrestling or pulling. Whilst always listening to her Dad. Whilst everyone could chat about anything but training dogs (that’s when you know this stuff is working). This was the closest we’d been able to get and I was so chuffed. Our walk ended up being so relaxed as both Koda and Lotty walked together and enjoyed their walk. We’ll done to both. It was lovely to see both Lotty and Koda relax and engage together, even have a little kiss 💜🥰 P.s. it’s not until you walk with a St Bernard that you realise you’re a slow walker 😂 I had to move my little legs pretty swiftly to keep up! 😂 We’ll done guys! Keep going!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! From my favourite dog to yours 💜 ❤️ 💋 😘 Our Valentine’s Day has been lovely. We’ve had a lovely romantic dinner, he’s had a fab new toy and we’ve had a lovely snuggle on the sofa…then the other half got back from work, interrupted us and ruined the atmosphere 😂 #happyvalentinessaytomydog ❤️🌹

Ever been told that playing tug and allowing them to ‘win’ will make them think they’re the boss? NOPE 👎 #NotTrue #DogTrainingMyth #LoadOfRubbish The truth is, that sort of thinking (where we think of hierarchy, being the boss, dominance, top of the pack stuff) is so out of date. We’ve moved on hugely since those days. So many industries have progressed and improved their methods over the last 30 years. Dog training is one of them! The reality is, if you play with your dog and everyone enjoys it…let them end the game with the toy in their mouth 😊 They won’t think they’re the most important. They won’t feel like they can be the boss of you. It won’t make them act like a total self-centred power hungry monster. It WILL help them to learn how to play with you. It will help them learn that everything is about give and take and being a TEAM. 👏 Their manners will then develop. If you’re worried about their attitude rather than their training, you won’t get very far (and you’ll get frustrated). Enjoy them. Play with them. Nothing says fun dog training like sticking your head in a cone! 👏 Amazing sniffing skills on display here from Ralph. I hid the SMALLEST piece of chicken somewhere around all of this kit and sure enough after one lap…he got it! Sniffing is more tiring than running and for breeds like Ralph who just love to do everything with an extra energetic wiggle, they LOVE sniffing 💜💜 Have a go and try it this weekend: ➡️ grab a couple of tasty things. ➡️ Spread it out in the garden. ➡️ Help them get started. ➡️ Watch (and listen) to them start to sniff. It’s amazing to watch 💜 Then tell me…how many sniffs did they do in 10 seconds? 👇

If someone had seen, it wouldn’t been face palm red cheeks sort of time 😂🤦‍♀️ I was VERY excited about Milo finding his ball. He listened, he understood and he went looking (because he so lovely).
