Maisie was so happy when we picked her up from Carol’s. We could see how comfortable she was in her home and the love that Carol had given her.

Big meet today so the sausages could meet Grace the new family addition, four month old curly coat retriever. So nice to see them altogether but hard to get all seven in one photo. 💕
Our little dog Otto had a wonderful stay with Sandie and she reported that she had a wonderful time with him too! The joy of using Pet Carers is the reassurance that we can meet the carers and visit their homes. The carers we have met have all been passionate about providing the best care for our dog - they are keen to follow his normal routine as far as possible and go out of their way to ensure that he is relaxed and happy. Under these circumstances we too can relax and enjoy our holiday knowing that Otto is being loved and well cared for. We have no hesitation in recommending Pet Carers Ltd.

Charity Dog Wash - Able Groomers
After the success of last year, our friends @ Able Groomers have kindly agreed to host a charity dog wash on Saturday 15th June to raise money for Guide Dogs!
- £15 per dog for a wash and dry.
- An opportunity to meet & greet some of our Guide Dogs.
- Raffle, tombola and Guide Dogs merch for sale.
- Refreshments available (For humans as well as the dogs!)

Charley had a wonderful stay for just over two weeks with Sue and Les and their Caverpoo, Harlie while we were on holiday in Thailand. Naturally we were a bit anxious about leaving her for so long but Sue and Les were very reassuring and could not have looked after her better. She got on really well with Harlie and was clearly very happy and relaxed when we picked her up after the holiday. Thank you for organising the stay.

I just wanted to let you know that Rodney had the best week with Dee and Phil, he was clearly so happy with them! He’s always been quite a nervous and attached dog but I’ve never seen him so happy and relaxed with others so thank you so much to them for that!
It is the second time that Archie has been to stay with Maggie and as soon as we arrived Archie was at home. Archie is a nervous dog but Maggie is so reassuring and is clearly a huge dog lover, it is obvious that she provides 5 star care. I wouldn't have the slightest hesitation in recommending such a wonderful home from home stay for your dog.
Just wanted to say thank you for organising Denzels long holiday with Chris.
Chris genuinely loves having Denzel and the feeling is mutual. He was so pleased to see Chris when we got there and he gets a warm welcome from the whole family. Chris sent us messages and some pictures which was great as we were away longer this time; and he did much better with brushing Denzel's teeth than I usually do. We could see that Denzel was relaxed and happy which was so reassuring. Thank you for setting us up.
We collected Reggie from Becky yesterday evening and once again I just want to say how amazing she has been. It makes our holiday so much more enjoyable knowing that our boy is being so well looked after, and it was lovely to receive some WhatsApp messages and photos from her while we were away.

She is quite a nervous, sensitive dog but she immediately settled with Helen who took such good care of her. I had regular pictures and videos which allowed me to enjoy my holiday as well!
I just wanted to say what a great time Floyd had with Chantel. I had some lovely videos and messages about how he was doing. Chantel looked after him beautifully. He was very relaxed when I went to pick him up - which always pleases me.
Floyd’s visit really felt like a home from home. It is always such a comfort to know your dog is loved and beautifully cared for when you are away. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
Just wanted to let you know Stanley had a good time last week being looked after by Sharon & Ken.
Sharon sent us regular updates during the week, and we could see from the photos how relaxed and happy he was. This enabled us to enjoy our holiday knowing he was being well cared for.
When we picked Stanley up he was delighted to see us but we could tell he had been well looked after and happy.
Well with mine it's a quick dash outside for business and back to bed.
The gorgeous Coco has just enjoyed another holiday with Chris.
I just wanted to say thankyou to Chris for giving Coco another lovely stay. She is always so well cared for and comes home calm and relaxed. I’m particularly grateful for his care and kindness when she got spooked by some early new year fireworks, he calmed her and looked after her during other fireworks.

Our Labrador, Reggie, has just spent 2 weeks with Becky. We can't thank her enough for the wonderful care she has given him - she really has looked after him as if he was her own dog. Thank you Becky for the WhatsApp messages and photos, it puts our mind at rest to know that he is being looked after as if he was your own pet. I can't recommend Becky, and Pet Carers, highly enough! Reggie is looking forward to seeing Becky again next year 😀
Sadie stayed with Emma whilst we were on holiday, and this was her third time staying with her. Sadie was really well looked after and seemed more than happy to stay with Emma when we dropped her off. Sadie apparently became firm friends with her two chihuahuas and enjoyed going on walks with them.
Emma sent regular photos and updates to us whilst we were away, which we very much appreciated. We would have no reservations in asking Emma to look after Sadie again when we next go away.
I have used Pet Carers for our dog over the last 5/6 years. I love the fact she stays in a family home with one to one care. She always has a great time and it means we can relax knowing she is in the best care.
Our two dachshund boys have just got back from the most wonderful time with Maggie - they just love going to stay with her and my husband and i always know they are well cared for and loved just like they are at home. At a three week break it was the longest we’d ever left them for but we needn’t have worried at all - Maggie sent us regular snaps and updates of them enjoying their time with her - on walks, in her garden and snuggled up on the sofa. I’d never be able to book them into kennels and so Kim’s service via Pet Carers just gives us such peace of mind that they’re having as lovely a holiday as we are exploring new walks and being taken care of in someone’s home.
This was the first time a Max has stayed with Marilyn and we couldn’t be more happy. We received updates with photos and videos of him looking super relaxed and hanging out with new friends. He particularly liked the good selection of toys and balls she had available.
Emma is alway as helpful as she can possible be, and always flexible with drop off and pick up times.
In June she had Bella for us shortly after she had been poorly. Emma was lovely with her not only ensuring she gave Bella her medication but also following our vets instructions for her care. She couldn't have been kinder sending us update and pictures during the week as I was worried to leave her but Emma put my mind at rest and told me she would care for her like she was her own which I believe she did.
She also had Bella again in August, this time Bella was much better although Emma continued to ensure she had her medication. Bella was a little nervous to be left but Emma took her to a different room while I left so she settled. She also again sent me an update and picture to show she had settled and was quite happy during her stay.
I have no worries when I leave Bella with Emma and her family as I think she gets the best care and attention with some cuddles thrown in.
Thank you Emma, I was able to have two stress free holidays knowing she was in good hands being cared for so well.

Would highly recommend Becky. Fred and Pops were very well looked after. Plenty of walks and attention and a lovely garden. Becky kept in touch with photos while we were away. Tired out after a walk 🥰

Kim – Having grown up with a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters it was inevitable that I would end up working with animals! Over 30 years ago whilst living in Hyde Park barracks, London I began dog sitting and walking, often taking care of the officers animals when on duty.
In 2010 decided it was time to make if official and launched Pet Carers which has gone from strength to strength.
Based in Totton the doggy family consists of the 4 Dachshunds Lulu, Dolly, Charlie and Teddy who are all kept in check by Merlin & Guinevere the British short hair cats.
Husband John who is now retired shares my love of animals and is now a regular at Southampton General Hospital with our two Therapy Dogs and is an Assessor for Pets As Therapy.
