If you've stayed with us, or are thinking of staying at East View holiday cottage, or you just fancy keeping up with life at Hollins Farm, and happenings in the lovely village of Eyam in the Derbyshire Peak District, then join us here for regular news. We have a pretty holiday cottage at the end of our lane which sleeps 5 people comfortably. It is a great base for families and couples to explore
Eyam and the Peak District. We welcome guests to spend time on the farm and meet the animals, and also offer livery to anyone who'd like to bring their own horse for a holiday too! You can hire our vintage Triumph convertable for a day too. If you'd like to know more about staying with us our website is www.eyamholidaycottages.co.uk. The farm is about 8 acres of grassland, in three fields and two paddocks, and a stone barn/ stable. We only keep a small number of animals and our aim is a degree of self sufficiency with a bit left over for guests, friends and family. . As far as possible we try to be organic and keep our animals healthy and happy. We also grow some vegetables and fruit (well Matt does), and enjoy quite a lot of 'wild' food too (that's mostly him as well, although I do the blackberries!)
I hope that this page allows people to get to know our livestock and what we're up to, and get a bit excited about their stay, before they visit us, and also to keep up with old friends once they leave, as well as to comment and chat.
