Lasius flavus commonly known as Yellow meadow ant.
They are very shy and friendly and generally spend most of the time underground.
In the nest they hunt small insects but they also keep aphids underground.
In captivity they are an easy species to care for and similar to Lasius niger just more shy! ☺️
