Hi All
Hope you are enjoying the lovely weather just want to clarify a few things with all of you though most of you are super stars already,
1/ You must when booking give me accurate times of both the drop off times & collection times within a 15 min time scale I.e. 08:00-08:15 depending on the day
If you are unsure of my times when you book please ask me what times you can drop & collect on your requested dates. If on the day you wish to collect earlier or are running late please text me ASAP to clarify this is OK, please do not just turn up. This applies to both daycare & boarding.
2/ Do not put your fingers or hands inside crates or allow your children to do so if you bring kids with you
Some dogs
a) do not like children or aren’t used to them,
b) some dogs are protective over their crate/space, even if the dogs are loose please do not touch or allow children to touch any of the other dogs.
C) They maybe hot, not feeling well, or not like people etc.
3/Do not talk or try to touch your own dog whilst it’s in a crate or lose, once out please try & stay as calm as possible, if you are use high pitched voices & make a big deal over your return this over excites your dog & enhances excitement in the other dogs, this then potentially causes issues for hours after you have left with & between the remaining dogs. I appreciate you are pleased to see your dog especially after being on holiday etc, once outside and away from “us” &
The door, you’re welcome to greet your dog as you feel fit to do so, though be aware this over excitement from you on returning can cause & enhance separation anxiety, the squealing, crying & barking etc your dog makes is not happy noises it’s stress noise & becomes learnt behaviour because you are rewarding that behaviour. Any dog that has or develops any form of separation anxiety will not be allowed to board or attend daycare in the future.
4) Do not allow dogs to jump at my door, these are relatively new composite doors.
Any damage caused to my door by your dog is financially down to yourselves to repair or replace as deemed necessary.
As per my T&c’s anything belonging to myself, other family members or anything in the house regardless of how big or small that your dog damages/destroys is at cost to yourselves to repair/replace.
Apologies if this is not what you want to read,
I would like to remind you all, I have to organise my days with other drop offs, collections, I have chores as in shopping etc to do, I sometimes have food to buy for dogs, pick up prescriptions for dogs, plus doctors, dentist, hospital appts for myself, I have a family who have birthdays etc.
This is my home as well as my business premises,
I also have neighbours to consider some whom have young children.
Thank you for your co-operation in all of the above.
