Bertie and Magic enjoying some ice soil 😃 Good job I recently learnt on a seminar with Nick Thompson, holistic vet, that soil is good for them!

My dog Magic receiving a massage this morning with the help of Dawn Heaton. Lots of dogs struggle to let their owners treat them but Magic just about lets me with rewards. He's had a sore shoulder and we're hoping he'll be ok for trick performances this weekend.

I always feel a bit mean advising clients to walk their dogs on lead only for at least 48 hours after treatment. This is my dog, Magic, on day two after treating a strain in his glutes last week. He doesn't look like he's suffering or missing out 😁 It may look like a complex set up but it is just two leads tied together, as one was too short and I kept walking into him, attached to a waist belt on me. I use XtraDog fleece harnesses with attachments at front and behind their neck which means no pressure is put on their shoulders. All my dogs walk nicely and in perfect rhythm with me with this set up, I often do long road walks with all three of my dogs like this instead of running in meadows as it is really healthy excerise and great bonding.
