As expected the little poorly one died shortly after coming home yesterday 😥 it's always so sad when they arrive too far gone.
Thankfully the remaining 5 babies are doing well, they're all eating and gaining weight.
We have caught a long haired cat we hope might be their momma but it's still unclear because she's too afraid/feral to be examined and of course the hair gets in the way of a sneaky peek.
There was no reaction when we showed her the babies so we thought it best to not push it. Hopefully we should know more tomorrow after a vet visit 😸
Baby Ora seems to be doing well..........
She feels nice and solid now instead of a tiny bag of bones, which is such a relief.
Please keep up the good work Miss Ora ✅ xx
Don't just sit there filming......HELP!!
Dis little ginger bugger is feeling better and don't I know it 😳
Love Pann xx
Otto here.......
I'm feeling a bit better today, fanks to everyone for asking after me 🥰
Dis was me last night after I'd had my din-dins. Can you see how sore my leggies are? Well they are less achy today, which is good.
Thankfully I didn't do a dramatic collapse, I thought about pretending but I don't think mummy Bev's heart could have taken it 😁 xx
It's official......
Pann is completely wild and will never make a good pet 😂🤣😂
NOT!!
I'm back! ..........
Did you miss me yesterday? Sorry, but I'd done so much typing, I was in danger of blunting my clawsies.
What do you think of da new boy? I'm hoping to meet him for a playdate when I'm big enough but mummy Bev says we'll have to see how things go.
I am growing fast though, now I'm eating my meaties, I'm putting on some much needed grams.
See you tomorrow, love Otto xx
Nom nom nom........
Scuse my bed hair, if I'd known I was going to be filmed I'd have had a wash and bwush up first 🙄
Mummy Bev's really happy, because she probably doesn't need to feed me at 3am now 😜
Love Otto xx
My first zoomies.......
Love Otto xx
Otto is feeling much better thank you........🥳
He says that he wants his milk in straight shots, and to keep them coming 😆
He also says he's going to start writing his own posts soon, he just needs to finish learning his alphabobs xx
Otto has seen a vet today and has now started antibiotics........
He's still not being very cooperative, however, this is a huge improvement compared to the past 24 hrs.
It still look like there's been an explosion at a milk factory though 😁 xx
Otto seems a little brighter this morning........
However, he still isn't taking his milk voluntarily, he fights against every drop that goes in his mouth.
He did lose a few grams in weight yesterday but thankfully he has stayed the same overnight.
If he doesn't turn a corner in the next few hours, he'll be going to see da vet 😬
I don't like da vets , they make my teefs angry........
Aunty Bev's helping me practice my manners, before my next visit.
Truth is I'll do anyfink for one of those yogurt treats.
Love Archie xx
How to climb down from the litter box lid in 4 easy lessons.............
Not !!! 😂🤣😂
Love Nova xx
Do you mind! ........
I is doing a play.
Please close da door on your way out 😁
Love Nova xx
This is Archie, you may have seen him posted on another rescue page, who were appealing for a foster placement for him.
Well he ended up coming here to me just a few hours ago.
This lovely looking lad has multiple issues, not least his appalling breathing . He's booked in next week for "boas" surgery (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome)
He will also be neutered and his very poorly ears will be examined properly all at the same time.
The reason he is crated is because
1) he has never lived with other dogs or cats before, so when I'm not able to sit with him, this is the safest option for everyone.
2) he will need to be crated for at least a week after his surgery, so it's best he gets used to the crate now.
3) he needs to drink little and often, if he has free access to the water bowl, he just drinks until he's sick.
So no negative comments about dogs in crates please, there are times when they are invaluable 😁
Charlie, (was Lionel)..........
We've been sent the most lovely update about our special boy, how well he is settling in and how great the other pets are with him.
But rather than putting it into words, I thought this sums it up beautifully 🥰🥰🥰
Baby Meg is doing really well......
You'll remember she was found abandoned by her mother in a works carpark.
Meg was introduced carefully to Meadow and her kittens of the same age, however, Meadow very politely refused to accept the new addition. So she is, for now, being reared by her foster mum.
Once Meg and Meadow's kittens are weaned well reintroduce them so Meg will have playmates eventually.
Happy days 🥰
And here's May........
These 2 sisters would love a home together but we are prepared to split them if the right homes came along.
They are understandably still nervous of new people and new situations but just look how far they've come.
If you would like to apply to adopt one or more of our rescues, please call 07471205605 up to 6pm most days.
And remember, all potential adoptions begin with a telephone call 😁 xx
Who remembers Maudie and May?
They came into care well over a year ago, quite poorly and completely un-socialized.
Well look at them now........here's Maudie's video first xx
Lionel has been making friends today........
His foster dad had been trying to teach him to pee on a puppy pad, with encouraging results, so watch this space 😁
If you watch to the end you get a glimpse of his unusual way of walking, not unlike a cat with Cerebellum Hypoplasia, but as we now know Lionel has right sided hydranencephaly, which makes him super special in so many ways ❤️🩹
