As more cats arrive at our branch this Christmas, you can help transform their lives forever. By donating as little as £5, you’d help provide every kind of care from emergency treatment and food to regular grooming so the most abused cats can find their forever homes.

£10 would help cover a cat’s microchip
£15 would help cover the cost of one of our pens
£40 would pay for a cat’s health consultation
£100 would cover a cat’s health consultation, first vaccine, and microchip

We cannot believe Olaf and Elsa have yet to find their forever home 🥺

We are now looking for a loving foster home for these two beautiful fur balls. Fostering provides animals with a safe, caring environment while they wait for their forever family. It helps them adjust, socialise, and these two will spoil you in cuddles 🤍🤍

Are you in Essex South West, or around, and can offer them a temporary sofa? please reach out! 🐾

this weekend and look after your furry friends whether it's by creating a safe place, offering extra treats, or letting them have all the cuddles on the sofa!

🎆This weekend why not donate as little as £10 to us instead of buying fireworks to support local animals?

Share photos of your black cat to help us raise awareness for on 27thOctober!

Did you know black cats are less likely to be rehomed due to urban myths? Black cats are deemed as unlucky to some, meaning any black cat that comes to us at the RSPCA takes a little while longer to find its furever home than any other colour!

This we are raising awareness and hoping a picture of your beautiful black cat will help remove the stigma that hangs over our dark-furred felines.

🐾 Adoptober Spotlight: Meet Olaf & Elsa! 🐾

This , we're shining a light on two incredible cats who deserve a second chance at happiness: Olaf and Elsa! 🌟

These lovely white furballs were sadly abandoned in a house for at least two weeks when their owners moved out, leaving them behind. Luckily, a kind neighbour noticed and reported it, allowing us to rescue them just in time! 🏡❤️

Despite their gentle personalities and loving nature, Olaf and Elsa have been overlooked by potential adopters, likely due to their age. But let us assure you, at just 5 years old, they still have so much love to give!

We can't believe this sweet duo has been with us for over two months now...

❤️ Let’s break the stigma around adopting adult cats! They often have calmer temperaments and are just as loving as their younger counterparts.

If you’re interested in meeting Olaf and Elsa, or know someone who might be, please share this post and help us find them the loving home they deserve! 🏠💕

A lovely adoption update about one of our favorite duo! 🐾

"Beans is our charming black cat with polydactyly—those adorable extra toes make him even more special! This friendly boy loves lounging on the bed or sofa, living his best “dopey dog” life. Despite his large paws, he’s not much of a hunter but brings so much joy to our home!

Then there's Earl Grey, our clever little explorer! Initially thought to be a scaredy cat, he’s actually a brave adventurer, always on the lookout for new discoveries. You can usually find him outdoors, honing his ninja skills, but he never misses a chance for cuddles in the evenings and during the chilly winter months.

We often joke that in a survival situation, Earl Grey would be Beans’ protector, as their bond is truly special. ❤️"

We love to see our cats thriving in their forever homes 🏠
Remember to keep an eye on our website if you too are looking to add a furry friend to your family!

🐾 Is your cat moving less, grooming less or having trouble jumping?

They might be experiencing osteoarthritis, a very common condition in older cats. Limping and obvious stiffness are actually not the most common signs of joint disease in cats, in fact a limp is a presenting sign in only a minority of cats with arthritic pain.

Advances in the science of pain relief in recent years mean there are now various practical options to suit every cat, so don’t hesitate to ask your vet if you have noticed any changes - the impact on your pet’s welfare could be huge! 🐱💤

*** APPEAL FOR INFORMATION ***
An investigation is in place after eight poorly four-week-old kittens were dumped in shoeboxes inside a Sports Direct bag in Enfield, North London💔

Infested with fleas and freezing cold, sadly only five of the kittens survived the conditions, and are now on the mend and will be soon well enough to find their loving forever homes🐱

If any members of the public hold any information we urge you to contact our appeals line on 0300 123 8018.
