A question we get asked a lot… why are there age restrictions when adopting a cat?

These restrictions are not only put in place to protect the cats that come into us, but also to protect your child(ren).

Like humans some cats are more suited to a louder, more active household whereas others need a quiet, calm environment. This can be because of personality or or due to previous experiences!

We pride ourselves on matching the right home to the right cat to ensure a successful, long-term placement… more importantly putting everyone’s happiness first 🏡🤍

Adopter update 🥰

Joey and sweep were adopted back in November 2023, back then the pair weren’t the best of friends but our lovely adopter worked very hard with the team and now they’re inseparable!

They’re always in the garden playing together or ‘helping’ make the bed 😂

We love to hear from you and enjoy the updates from all of our kitties 🤍

🐾 Happy Caturday! 🐱
We hope you and your feline friends are enjoying the slightly cooler weather today 🌤️😺

Even on milder days, it’s important to keep our pets cool and comfortable. Here are a few warm-weather tips to keep your cat safe:

☀️ Always provide fresh, clean water
🌿 Keep them indoors during the hottest part of the day
🧊 Pop a cold water bottle in their favourite napping spot (wrapped in a towel) or even better provide a cool mat
🪟 Make sure there’s plenty of ventilation
🐾 Never leave pets in parked cars!

Stay cool, stay safe, and give your kitties an extra cuddle from us! 💛🐾

PS: Aslan and Kiara are still looking for a home 💙

☀️Preparing for the hotter days! Although it’s cooler in the cattery, we like to take some extra precautions to make sure our kitties can stay as comfortable as possible during the UK’s heatwave.

We rely heavily on donations to ensure we can purchase resources for the cats the whole year round. If you would like to donate to help, please follow the link 💙
