Thank you so much for the cone love this week but that does mean I’m low on stocks at the moment.
I will be making up some up as soon as I can but please do let me know if you need one super quick and I can reserve one for you and treat it as a priority.
My inspector B is now healed and out of his cone but it has been amazing for allowing his ear to heal without catching on the wound as it was in rather awkward spot!
Once again thank you so much each cone comes with a piece of my heart stitched in (metaphorically speaking there!!)

We’ve been working on some new felted pieces which incorporate boss lady’s love of fae world, mystical beings and crystals.
Our little woodland wish jars which have felted mushrooms, dried real foraged moss, dried real flowers and genuine crystal chips are proving really popular!
The cauldron gonk is still up for grabs at £5 plus p&p message me if you would like him 😍

Barley is doing fab after surgery but I decided to give him some cone off time with just a sock on yesterday and he managed to take the scabs off his ear wound by scratching so the cone is here to stay until it’s absolutely healed and then some!!
We have 2 x small short depth, 2 x extra small and 1 x small in the blue star brushed cotton cone you see barley wearing here. It’s a lighter weight cone than the fleece cozie cone but excellent for warmer weather and for ear injuries. Barley is really settled in his cone and fell asleep outside on the chairs at 9pm in his ❤️

Extra small grey spot cones will be hitting the website tomorrow! We have prepped the brushed cotton ones too.
They may be my product but the cozie cone has made life so much easier stopping those claws and paws getting to his ear wound but at the same time being super soft on the wound itself!

Brushed cotton also known as flannelette is perfect for a lighter weight cozie cone. We’ve found a fabric supplier with some epic prints and will be making more but we will have to charge more for these as the fabric is more expensive and we get less cones out of each metre.
These will be much better for warmer weather (if we ever get any!) and for facial or ear wound healing. They will not be as robust as the fleece cones we have always done and will not dry as quickly after a wash. There are benefits to both fabric choices so if you are confused please just ask. We would rather you message and your dog have the right cone for their particular wound/injury site.
Barley is getting a small short depth for his ear wound as it’s getting a bit warmer this week and we hope to have the stock on the website for the weekend

The power of the cozie cone!
Sadly barley needs one he’s had surgery today. He’s had quite a large wart like lump removed from his ear. I had made him a snood but he hates it so instead I put a cozie cone on him. He’s settled ever since.
It’s soft on his ear thick enough to stop those claws getting to his wound and the perfect chin rest of course

The spotty small short depth cone is out of stock guys because my own little inspector b has had his ear lump removed and treatment on his gingival hyperplasia including tooth removal to try and help.
I need to update the stock but please don’t purchase this one until I have him settled. That is the benefit of your mum making cones!!
I am getting some more cones whilst he has to take things easy this week. We have been absent a little while but are back and ready to promote the best invention for ear surgery as it turns out 😳

So on 15th July my amazing barley goes in for op number 7!
What this little brown dog with the biggest of hearts has been through is astounding but he’s always bounced back with a wiggly bum and oodles of cuddles.
So he has diagnosed gingival hyperplasia he last had gum lumps removed approx 3 years ago but despite our best efforts the lumps came back and have encased teeth completely this time. So that results in sore bleeding gums and a greater risk of infection. He’s also had a wart lump on his ear for years it’s grown significantly to the point it makes his ear super itchy and with scratching comes redness and swelling.
So he’s having his lumpy bumpies removed and as usual the cozie cone will be out in action for his recovery. We have had amazing feedback for ear ops and injuries so we have high hopes for our cone.
I have also been advised to cover his back paw with a sock. A sock???? We don’t do that make shift stuff here so watch this space for a special design to help paw and leg injuries heal and for ear ops too it turns out. It’s a design we have been working on for a while now but the urgency just ramped up a bit for us!

In September my beautiful little sidekick and the face of cozie turns 10!
We need some help we are planning a peppa party with a bang! We’d like to put together some little party bags for a local stray kennels to us Hilbrae Pets Hotel and Stray Kennels
We should have a ball and some yummy fish treats to go in but we are appealing to doggy bakers to ask if you would consider donating some biscuits, cupcakes anything you can to go in to the bags and of course pop us in some cards and we’ll give you a shout out here too and wherever we can. Please get in touch if you think you can help make some rescue doggies days!

Hi all we are still here I promise!!
We’ve just had a bit of a creative break but are slowly getting back into making some bits and bobs including more cones and some cuddle cushions. We would like to clear out old fabric so will be adding some one of pieces very soon at discounted prices to help to make room for more fabulous furry suitable fabric for your little beasties!

We are without fibre broadband and mobile data at the moment here in Shropshire! I have managed to pick up an order for a cone and do this post while nipping for some milk! I may also have got some biscuits 😂
Other than training barley up to be our delivery boy I’m going to be struggling to log on and update orders at the moment.
The cone that has been ordered I will go old school and hand write the label and drop off to the post office tomorrow afternoon.

Barley took to stage one of courier training well today though so there is hope and he doesn’t rely on any fancy fibres just biscuits and or fox p**p!!

Let me tell you a story about why cozie canine is so!
This is barley he’s a rescue was up on scum tree at 9 months old luckily someone wholesome stepped in for him. He was given away for £100 he was that unwanted!! I knew from the day I saw his first pic I had to have him in my life and peppas life too! I actually can’t imagine life without him or before him now!
Barls has issues….where do I start?? An autoimmune disease of lupus, chronic pancreatitis caused mostly by meds for the immune system issues and poor dietary advice from well meaning people to put weight on him (don’t ever consult Facebook wannabe vets please!) then he had to have two tail amputations due to his immune system overreacting and then came gum issues! Then came along 4 dogs off lead and unsocialiswd and wanting to hurt him and hurt him they did. The poor boy was patched up by vets that day and still has a slight limp from the attack.
Then we get a diagnosis of gingival hyperplasia and that’s creeped back and we need to resolve it by taking his teeth away to stop the bleeding and pain when chewing.
imagine being a dog and one of your happy moments in life is being able to sink your teeth into a chew he can’t do that without pain. He gets a cut it turns nasty. He can’t fight infection but yet lives healthy complete and fulfilled thanks to raw food and holistic health supplements
So boring post but we are a small business we are everything about personality and people and actual dogs who actually exist and are not photoshopped or made to be completely perfect. But we are completely exceptional!!
We do cozie for this one peppa is our model but he is our heart and we thank you so much for supporting us and barley in such an amazing way with likes and shares and recommendations.

Well that’s me smitten!!!
Tom is modelling a rather fetching custom size spotty cozie cone and well I’m just in love quite honestly!! After ordering the biggest size soft cone on Amazon and it not fitting we jumped in as fast as we could. We were recommended by a local pet business and we thank you so much for your referrals.

The delicious dotty dog is here to tell you some news!! We are slowly expanding the stocked cone sizes and we are launching the first one tonight.
Our medium short depth has a collar width of up to 18” and a depth of approx 25cm. It’s ideal for wider necked short muzzled larger bully breeds . Dotty has tried and tested one out for us and will be featured on the website too ❤️

Oh the mud at the moment!!
Bath time and bathrobe time! One of us is not impressed 😳
Despite other people telling you polar fleece is waterproof it absolutely is NOT. It is still insulating whilst your dog is wet but it is neither water repellant or waterproof it does not wick water. It holds less than 1% of its weight in water meaning it dries quickly and acts as a bit of barrier to heavy rain but it is NOT waterproof. We are always honest it won’t keep your dog dry it will insulate and polar fleece is not the perfect drying coat material. It’s for warmth!

The tongue said it all! Treated the inspectors to a doggy dinner at The Golden Ball Inn 1728 today when we had lunch with friends!
Also inspector p wants to let you know she’s added some more small and medium cones to the website and we are cutting out some polar bear print in all standard sizes this afternoon

We still have two fox print cuddle cushions that are so sad in my storage cupboard 😢
They need to cuddle they were made to cuddle a doggy!

We will be reloading cone stock tomorrow and some cheeky tiger print jumpers we have made up too! We are concentrating on cone production for a little while as most sizes are now very low in stock
We hear some of you had snow this week…we didn’t get any where we were but it was cold and wet and so the pjs had to come out
We are having an admin and cutting out day tomorrow and will reply to all messages and get any orders placed ready will be off to courier tomorrow

Oh betwsy we have adored you! Betws-y-Coed the pizzeria with dog coats to borrow has made me want to get in touch! Of course I get that people will walk away with them but surely is more important than those dishonest and sad at heart that they would deprive another dog of warmth whilst the humans enjoyed a beverage.

Firstly I want to thank you all for cone orders this week!
We have had a bit of a buzz for them and that’s ace as I know they help and a colleague at work has needed theirs this week and found it invaluable too in an emergency. I am however low on medium, small and extra small now.
BUT rest assured I’m making more as I type!!
Today I found an oldie but goodie my cozie wrap! I made this 4 years ago and haven’t used it for 2 years as admin man had buried it in his wardrobe 🙄 boy did it help at 8am when I went to the day job!
Anyway who wants a return of the cozie cowl? And who wants to match their pupper cozie coats?
