We are so late to the party but we, peppa barley and boss lady (also a little admin man!) would like to wish you all the most merry Christmas and happy new year.

We are a bit quiet and for good reason we’ve been concentrating on employed work and just life with chiari to be honest.

Our back bone is our cones and for the love you have for them thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. From the personal messages to vet comments we truly are so humbled and also so very honoured you choose us above the likes of Temu with their flower shaped cones of mass production. What we say to those products is does your interior save material from landfill or add to it. When you chose our cones you chose to help the carbon footprint just a smidgen and you chose our sourcing skills of anti microbial interior for your cones. They may not make your dog look like a flower or doughnut but they help the earth in a tiny way to make a bigger impact along the way.

Thank you so very much for the support despite the lack of paid ads and Chinese sourced products. We love you completely ❤️

Hi all! Long time I know!!

As a lot of our followers know I have a condition called chiari malformation. Put in very very basic language it means my brain is too big for my skull and crowds my brain stem. This causes issues with swallowing food and drink for me. I choked on a cup of tea and managed to give myself aspiration pneumonia 😳

So we have got low on stocks of cones I am absolutely no where near where I wanted to be stock wise for stuff for Christmas purchases. I have some coats and other cozie wares cut out some part stitched and I’ll be getting these added to the website as soon as I can for you to purchase for Christmas.

This year I will not be doing hampers….its been a tough call but with soooo much competition and price increases with suppliers it’s just not financially and physical health wise worth it he stress it creates for me as a sole trader. We hope you all understand

Please let me know if you need something specific in time for Christmas and I will do my best to get what’s needed sorted for you. We do have some lovely cuddle blankets almost made, coats almost made and a couple of cuddle cushions made and ready to list on the website soon.

Thank you for sticking with us even though we have been super quiet recently and here is a very snuggly inspector b for you all too ❤️

Thank you so much for the cone love this week but that does mean I’m low on stocks at the moment.

I will be making up some up as soon as I can but please do let me know if you need one super quick and I can reserve one for you and treat it as a priority.

My inspector B is now healed and out of his cone but it has been amazing for allowing his ear to heal without catching on the wound as it was in rather awkward spot!

Once again thank you so much each cone comes with a piece of my heart stitched in (metaphorically speaking there!!)

We’ve been working on some new felted pieces which incorporate boss lady’s love of fae world, mystical beings and crystals.

Our little woodland wish jars which have felted mushrooms, dried real foraged moss, dried real flowers and genuine crystal chips are proving really popular!

The cauldron gonk is still up for grabs at £5 plus p&p message me if you would like him 😍

Barley is doing fab after surgery but I decided to give him some cone off time with just a sock on yesterday and he managed to take the scabs off his ear wound by scratching so the cone is here to stay until it’s absolutely healed and then some!!

We have 2 x small short depth, 2 x extra small and 1 x small in the blue star brushed cotton cone you see barley wearing here. It’s a lighter weight cone than the fleece cozie cone but excellent for warmer weather and for ear injuries. Barley is really settled in his cone and fell asleep outside on the chairs at 9pm in his ❤️

They may be my product but the cozie cone has made life so much easier stopping those claws and paws getting to his ear wound but at the same time being super soft on the wound itself!

Brushed cotton also known as flannelette is perfect for a lighter weight cozie cone. We’ve found a fabric supplier with some epic prints and will be making more but we will have to charge more for these as the fabric is more expensive and we get less cones out of each metre.

These will be much better for warmer weather (if we ever get any!) and for facial or ear wound healing. They will not be as robust as the fleece cones we have always done and will not dry as quickly after a wash. There are benefits to both fabric choices so if you are confused please just ask. We would rather you message and your dog have the right cone for their particular wound/injury site.

Barley is getting a small short depth for his ear wound as it’s getting a bit warmer this week and we hope to have the stock on the website for the weekend
