My sweet but a little bit physco Fiyah 🤣

Fiyah is taking a little break from rigerous training whilst we await news of her recent mating, so here is a little video of her last protection session taken a few days before she was mated.

I’m going to miss training this girl, she really does bring me joy and happiness and I’ll miss making TikTok’s of her. We will continue with some light obedience to keep her fit and healthy, but for now protection goes on hold 🩷🩷

Super excited to share this news with you, we took Fiyah to 🇧🇪 this week for a mating with the handsome Hulgaard’s Tiran

Thank you so much to Wendy for allowing us to use your Tiran.

He is such a stunning example of the breed and we think he will compliment Fiyah so well, such a beautiful pairing.

Now the rest is down to nature, keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻

We are over the moon with Exa’s health test results, knowing she is of fantastic health we can happily continue with her training and will be adding her to our breeding programme and look forward to having a litter from her to continue our line in the future.

Happy 7th Birthday to Bindi and Tia (Bina) from our B Litter 🥳

Bindi is now retired from dog sport having successfully qualifying to IGP3, and is now enjoying the sofa life ☺️

Tia is a working dog, looking after a farm, apart from being a great protector she is also a brilliant mouser (as good as a Jack Russell, I am told) her record so far is 95 in one day! 😮 🐭 🐁

It’s not only PD Dredd that finds and detains criminals, PD Kola from our C litter was in action again last night detaining a criminal and recently she helped to put another criminal behind bars for life for threatening shop workers with a gun and separate kidnapping.

So very proud of PC Loi and PD Dredd this week at the National Police Dog Trials In 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It didn’t quite go to plan, let’s just say, Dredd had a blast and was definitely a crowd pleaser 😁 🙈

Once I’ve had a chance to go through the video footage I’ll show you what he has been upto this week.

Onwards and upwards, there is always next year 🤞🏻

But at the end of the day, we are still bringing the best dog home.

This weekend we are heading off to Scotland for the 62nd National Police Dog Trials held at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan, over 4 days from 20th - 23rd May.

Vonloi Ernie has started his training to become Steve’s hearing assistance dog.

Sadly Steve has become totally deaf now so being able to teach Ernie how to alert him to important sounds, such as doorbells, smoke alarms, sirens and even when a person is calling his name, will make a massive difference to Steve’s life.

This means wherever Steve goes, Ernie goes too.

We are delighted for Steve, Janice and Ernie and wish you all the best with his training, I’m sure he will become a lifeline for you all.

Ernie’s Trainer is so impressed by him she has also suggested he try his paw to search and rescue in the future.

Way to go Ernie 👊🏻🐾👂🐶

📣FIYAH MERSAK📣

Today me and Fiyah completed the Ausdauerprufung (AD) a test of physical fitness and stamina consisting of a 20km run alongside a bicycle.

We had a great day today at South Valley Sports Dog Club under SV judge Jim Jackson.

Fantastic news for our home bred boy Vonloi Dredd, after competing over the past 3 days at the regional trials, we are delighted to announce that PD Dredd and PC Loi have qualified for the second year running to compete at the National Police Dog Trials to be held in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 in May this year.

Can’t wait for a road trip to Scotland to see my boys perform, so proud of you both and good luck🍀

Me and Exa had a little road trip to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 today to enter a Character Assessment (WB).

This is a breeding predisposition test for German Shepherds which involves a series of tests for dogs aged between 9 and 13 months, the tests are to assess the dogs:

impartiality;
social behaviour;
noise sensitivity;
confidence with movement;
play and prey instinct and
basic character.

This test is mandatory in Germany if you want to breed from your GSD and register puppies with the German KC, the SV.

I am delighted to say, Exa didn’t let me down and she did a super job and passed with flying colours 🙌🏻

Thank you to Severnside Sports Dog club for always making us feel welcome and to the assessor Wayne Vessey (GSDL) who liked Exa very much 🫶🏼

As promised, we stopped off on our way home for a celebratory McFlurry🍦🐾🐾
