My beautiful Ollie
In 2009, my lovely Ollie was suffering from a chronic illness which meant regular vet check ups, medication and special food. He was happy and energetic and full of life, and I was doing everything possible to give him the very best life. But it all came at a large financial cost, and money was tight. How was I to make a few more pounds a week to keep us going? I thought starting a small dog walking round would help, if I could make it work. With the help and encouragement of my friend Vicky Jones, I put together a business plan, more in hope than anything else. I don’t drive and thought that would be a problem, but I took my idea to a business adviser, Rob Brown, who looked at my idea and said, yes, that is worth a shot! So, here I am, all these years later, with many new friends, human and canine, and loads of fantastic memories, and a full time business!
