Can we start a campaign to get to start serving Strongarm banked? Because we would never leave.
Five Rivers Morris was formed in 2008 by a bunch of like-minded folk in Sheffield who wanted to dance some Morris. We still do, so we still do.

Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Formed in Sheffield in 2008 by a bunch of like-minded folk who wanted to dance some Morris. We still do, so we still do. We aspire to dance traditional Cotswold Morris with energy, vigour and enthusiasm. We like to keep things simple. We don't have a band. We don't yell or shout. And we don't wear lots of ribbons. We dance clean, crisp Morris accompanied by one or two musicians. Sometimes we do this at major folk festivals, in city centres and at other large events. Sometimes it's just us, a man and his dog in the back of a pub in Sheffield. Wherever we are and whoever we're dancing for, we enjoy ourselves and aim to provide as much entertainment as possible to anyone who sticks around to watch. We’re always on the look-out for men interested in joining Five Rivers Morris as dancers or musicians (ideally both!). Our practice sessions run from September through to April, so the best time for new dancers to join us is at the start of this period, allowing plenty of time to learn the dances ready for the following Summer. If you are interested in finding out more about us the best thing to do is come see us at one of our dance outs at pubs around Sheffield over Summer. This will give you a chance to see the dances for yourself and have a chat and get to know the team. Alternatively, get in touch if you’d like to have an informal chat about joining, or even better if you’ve already made up your mind and want to let us know to expect you at our next practice session! Practices are every Thursday, 8 – 9:30 at the Burton Street Foundation, 57 Burton St, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S6 2HH. There’s plenty of free parking and it’s very close to the New Barracks Tavern for post-practice refreshment!
