Hi all

My due date for our baby is towards the end of November. I am, in general, a very active person and am hoping to continue walking for as long as I can. At the moment, my plan is to be off on maternity leave from:

Friday 31st October 2025 to Mon 2nd March 2026

This is obviously subject to change based on how the pregnancy progresses and any birth complications that may arise.

If you wish for me to gather potential walkers for cover during this period, please do let me know. Alternatively, I am happy for you to arrange this yourself, and I do understand if you choose to permanently move to another walker instead of temporary cover for those 17 weeks.

I will update you all if any plans change ASAP. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Look at this handsome boy rocking his new accessory!

So many people see a muzzle and assume the dog is aggressive. In truth, there are many reasons a pup may be sporting a muzzle. Some scavenge and risk eating something dangerous; some have strict dietary requirements and need to be controlled on what they can access. This handsome boy is a rescue who hasn't learned the proper bite control as a young puppy. Some dogs will let him know when he goes too far, but others just accept the rough play. So, in order to stop fur being removed during mad playtime, he now rocks a muzzle for the first few minutes of his walk until the zoomies are gone and correct polite play can ensue.

Muzzles are a great tool when used correctly. And I do feel as if they're so stigmatised that owners are embarrassed about using them when, in reality, they're doing the absolute best thing for their dog 💕

Very excited to say that Jaymes and I are expecting an addition to our family later this year 👶 Tiny Hitchhiker is currently cooking away nicely, stealing all my energy and resources 🤣 Baby is expected Nov/Dec 2025 😍

I will be messaging everybody with how this will affect the FurryTail Guild pups later down the line. At the moment, everything is continuing as usual!

I've had a couple of requests for house sits this year, and I realised I had forgotten to update you all.

I have a second job in the evenings and Sundays for at least the next few months. This means that house sits, evening and Sunday walks, will unfortunately no longer be available. I may be able to do dinner time pop ins depending on the day, but there is no guarantee of availability.

My apologies for the delay in notifying you all, and I will update you if my availability changes later in the year.
