It’s that time of the year again – clipping season! Clipping makes life a lot easier for sport horses and riders during winter. It helps horses release heat more easily during training and dry faster afterwards. Remember, though, that clipping changes your horse's thermoneutral zone, so choosing the right blanket after the cool-down is essential, based on the outside temperature. 🌡️
And don’t forget: horses have very sensitive skin. A clean, soft coat and the use of pH-neutral products (between 7.0 and 7.4) are essential to keep their skin healthy and protected. 🐴

Massive congratulations to Theo and George from everyone at Kingswood. They began their British Dressage - Quest Club show career at Kingswood back in February and finished their season off with not only a win at the championships but also by taking the British Dressage - North & West Region rider skills championship award. 👏👏
