For my Ziwi Peak customers, this appears to be Ziwi's new air-dried replacement.

Exactly what we'll be seeing in the UK is yet to be confirmed, but according to a comment on the original post it will be launching in Europe from September of this year.

Interested in trying one of our newest products, SANA DOG?

We've been super interested in this product for a while now and it already seems to be popular with some of our customers!

SANA DOG is an air-dried food for dogs, with 80% meat and minimal carbs. It's made in Germany, and they also have a interesting range of treats which we are hoping to start stocking soon.

My first thoughts were that the kibble seems pretty big but luckily it is easily crunched by even senior dogs (we tested this with our 16 year old Yorkshire terrier, Titch). They use great protein sources that include organ meats as well as muscle meat, and there's no potato or rice!

I have some really unfortunate news to share with all of our Ziwi Peak customers.

Today, we were informed that Ziwi Peak will no longer be suppling their air-dried range to European countries.

We are obviously devastated by this decision as we know how important this brand has been for so many of our customers. We are also incredibly disappointed, as we have been informed previously that stock would return to the UK and we have been passing that hope onto our customers.

We are awaiting confirmation from our local sales rep on whether Ziwi Peak's wet food range is also affected by this decision.

A limited amount of air-dried stock will be available within the next few weeks, but as stock is limited it is expected to go quick. We are opening up the option to pre-order this stock on our website, and we recommend taking advantage of this.

As always, we will keep you updated as we receive more information, and we are so sorry for any knock on effects this has on our customers and, of course, your pets.

We've just added TONS of new products from Green & Wilds to our website!

As well as the usual antler chews (which are ethically sourced, of course), we now stock an even wider range of their chews, treats and toys.

A majority of their treats are air-dried and single-source protein, so we think they'll be perfect for dogs with sensitivities. There's also some unusual proteins available such as pheasant and wild boar.

If you try any of Green & Wilds' products with your pets, be sure to let us know what they think! Our dogs are particular fans of the Bags of Tiddlers :)

We have received a new update from Ziwi Peak, and they are predicting new stock will be available in March of this year. Once we have more definite confirmation of this, we will of course let everyone know.

It's the first of 2024! This week's blog post talks about something many pet owners are familiar with, excessive itching.

Nowadays there are so many potential allergens in food that can make our pets feel itchy. These include ingredients such as wheat, dairy, and even certain vegetable oils.

Being aware of the ingredients in our pets' foods can help, and if you think your pet is itching and scratching excessively, it might be worth having a look at their diet to rule out potential allergies and intolerances.

It's perfectly natural for our dogs and cats to have the occasional itch. Reoccurring or persistent itching, however, can be a bad sign.
