Planning was submitted this week for a barn conversion with contrasting modern extensions in Moreton, Cheshire. The existing barn is a unique construction; formed in shuttered concrete with a pebbledash finish. The farmhouse (grade II listed) and agricultural buildings date back to the 1870's and we're formerly part of the Great Moreton Hall Estate. The structures are umderstood to be the work of concrete pioneer Charles Drake. 😊

A Victorian era King post truss, 1 of two to remove on phase 2 of our Alsager project on Chancery Lane. The trusses are to be sympathetically cleaned up and reinstated in the newly converted loft space as decorative features, giving way to a new steel structure 😊
