For those wanting an update on the abandoned ponies….

Authorities have been out to where they are today and have placed them into the appropriate care to some lovely people that can keep them safe for at least 6 months until a home can be found for them.
Even though these people have kindly offered to do this, as they couldn’t see them euthanised. They are under the pressure of financially funding them with no help.
There are 3 mares and 2 foals (foals are currently nursing). 1 mare is also currently in foal.

I know a few of you messaged me yesterday about donating a bag of feed or asking what you could do to help….
So if you can help by donating a bag of feed that would be amazing. It can be left with us (as there location is confidential). Or you can purchase through us even in store or via Facebook (we can send a payment link via our till, so you don’t even need to come in). We shall then deliver it to them.

We ourselves have donated feed, buckets, treats and head collars and shall continue to donate.

Again I want to thank you all for reaching out with help yesterday. You have all been amazing. 🥰🐴

Sadly, running a Small Cat Grooming Business isn't only about 'grooming the kitties'. Especially when doing everything single handed. That includes the clean up, washing, managing customer bookings, check in and check outs, dealing with enquiries, ordering stock, ensuring the business follows legal compliancy .... that's just the tip of the iceberg.

With the changes to our tax reporting in 2026, we will need to comply with Making Tax Digital which adds stricter and earlier tax deadline reporting per quarter.

With the increase in running costs over the past year and the need to consider either outsourcing some of our admin functions or taking on a member of staff, whichever route we go it means an extra cost to our business which needs to be reflected in our charges.

We thank all our loyal customers who entrust us with grooming their kitties, who keep to our recommended maintenance schedules, keep to time, keep to their booked appointment (changes cause us extra work and loss of income if you change your slot) and do try to comb their kitties between appointments. 🥰
