Photos from my latest visit to - a wonderful Cat Rescue Charity in Worcester Park, Surrey, run by June and her amazing Team.

Gracie is one of June's purr....sonal Persians. Quite a character, always up to mischief and who chooses to spend a lot of her time in the garden, living her best life. 🥰

Of course, loving the outside life plays havoc with her coat as she gets wet and so and leads to matting, especially in the winter when her coat just balloons! So a big grooming session for her yesterday. This includes the all important bath and blow dry - a key part of a professional cat groom. A matted coat is uncomfortable, so important this is addressed.

Trying to get a decent photo of her was impossible, as all she wanted to do was crawl up onto my lap for cuddles. Who can resist?? 🥹

Gorgeous Polly. 💓

Let's just say Polly is a somewhat 'chonky' kitty and on a permanent diet. As with any kitties who have a few extra pounds, it can be difficult / impossible for them to self clean their 'important places' and requires some extra help.

A regular professional bath, blow dry and comb out, plus keeping certain parts of the coat clipped short, is key to her health and comfort.

Yes, a cats coat colour can be an indication of their behaviour and even coat condition. Reds are often extra greasy and this little lady is no exception. Which makes it challenging for her family to keep on top of her coat issues and requires professional assistance to stop her coat matting.

She is kept on a good maintenance schedule and this helps keep the appointment as short as possible before her patience runs out. 🙈
