💖PLEASE READ💖
Bit of a long post but here goes…..
Mum saw a post about small business owners the other day and and it really resonated with her💖 Running a small business comes with so many positives BUT there are also, at times, so many periods of anxiety too. Mums fortunate, she generally tries to just push through, but today has been tough, there’s even been a few tears, you know when you get that horrible anxiety in your chest😫
We mentioned a couple of weeks ago we keep seeing small businesses closing, which is just incredibly sad and to be honest fills us with fear too. We try so hard to think of freebies, offers, discounts. This month we’ve done something everyday, but it’s still been very, very hard and at times it just feels like nothing is quite working.
Things are so difficult for everyone right now and people can only realistically spend so much, we totally get that. We’re completely the same. And that’s why we desperately need to grow to enable us to continue.
We don’t think of people who purchase from our small business as customers, it’s like a little community of friends who love me and my sisters/cousins and purchasing from our website too 💖 and also just want to support what we do 💖
Facebook, or any of the social platforms tbh, doesn’t really help small businesses, it makes reaching new people incredibly hard, growing a page is like trying to find a unicorn carrying a toilet roll 🧻 🦄 (and believe me, you know how much I love toilet roll, so I’d love to find a unicorn with one🤣)
Starting the Ko-Fi page, will hopefully help long term, but that will be a slow process to grow straightaway and get more and more people to hopefully join.
To help we would REALLY appreciate you sharing this post with friends, family, groups. We appreciate our, sometimes mad, page isn’t for everyone BUT we believe we can grow if we have enough people behind us. We actually feel a sense of responsibility, as we know seeing me every day makes you smile (mum just said I’m being modest Pudding as usual🫢)
