It was lovely to see George again this week. It's been quite a while since we last saw him, but it was nice to see that not much has changed, other than being slightly greyer round the edges - he still loves his toys, his treats and his walks.... once he is out on them!

Today we said goodbye to dear Mischa. She was one of the biggest dogs we ever walked and even though she was already a senior lady when we first met her, she lived to an impressive 13 1/2 years old, equivalent to a human living to well over 100! In the end it was her body that failed her, whilst her mind and spirit (and appetite!) remained strong. Mischa was always a very feisty lady, it took us months to win her round initially, but once she had your trust, she was one of the most loyal dogs you could ever meet. She remained feisty though... even hobbling around on weak legs at the end, she could still muster the strength to rear up and tell other dogs off if they got too close! She was a wonderful girl, overflowing with character and despite the length of her walks diminishing in her twilight years, she was still eager to go out on them (also because she knew it meant treats were coming during and at the end of them!). Her passing will leave an enormous wolf-like hole in all of our lives. Goodbye dear girl, run free and howl along to sirens forever more... 🐺🌈
