The Cavalry of Heroes is closing and everything is for sale.
It's with great sadness that we announce the closing of The Cavalry of Heroes. We have loved every minute of our performances and thank everyone for their support throughout the years but unfortunately the heart has left the Cavalry. All our horses, carriages, show equipment, costume and fittings are all up for sale. A catalogue of all the items for sale can be found on our website. Some are available to buy online, for the others please use the enquiry form to contact us. All items must go.
We aren't taking on any more bookings or enquiries but if you have any questions regarding your gift certificates or account please email [email protected].

Jousting at Berkeley Castle with The Cavalry of Heroes
We're BACK at Berkeley Castle this May Bank Holiday Weekend (Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May 2018). Time for some Sunshine, Knights, Princesses and Jousting!
We've very lucky and privaleged to be able to perform one of our Medieval Jousting Shows right in front of the beautiful Berkeley Castle. Such a stunning location and we always seem to bump into the wonderful Henry VIII and his Tudor Ladies courtesy of Past-Times Living History. Family friendly show where you can watch brave knights battle it out to become tournament champion.
Over the years we have seen King Louis, our Golden Knight and our infamous Lord Pendragon make an appearance and it looks like we have another contender this year to become tournament champion!
Performing again on Early May Bank Holiday 6th and 7th May 2018, be sure to come along and cheer on your favourite Knight. In the video you can see our Friesian Stallion Asgard, as well as Guinness, and this year you might also catch a glimpse of our beautiful white andalusian stallion Curioso Maximus. Have an epic Bank Holiday weekend whatever you get up to and hope to see you at Berkeley Castle.

Sudeley Castle Easter Medieval Joust by The Cavalry of Heroes
We're coming to London! The Cavalry of Heroes are performing our Six Horse Medieval Jousting Display at Lambeth Country Show this weekend 15th and 16th July in Brockwell Park. Full of fast action stunts, tricks and champion Knights. Cheer on your favourite Knight as they do battle against our infamous Dark Knight Lord Pendragon. Featuring Sir William our Golden Knight, Sir Lancelot and Sir Robert!
For the first time EVER the Dark Knight is on his way to Tatton Park for the Tatton Park Country Show 2017. This weekend (13th and 14th May), Medieval Jousting from The Cavalry of Heroes. The Adventure of The Cavalry of Heroes!
Set up by Horse Trainer, Stunt Rider and Coachman Marc Lovatt, The Cavalry of Heroes provides quality horses, carriages, riders and coachmen for live shows, events and film. Where our happy and healthy horses are the stars; trained and looked after by our heroic team to ensure the best performances.
With a background working with horses from before he was even born, Marc has years of experience training horses from Showjumping in Burma to driving carriages at The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace and has since worked for some of the biggest teams riding on film sets across Europe.
Above all he places the importance of making sure that our stunning horses are happy and healthy horses and trust in him. As by gaining and respecting this trust our beautiful horses always give us their very best performance, willingly and without hesitation, through mutual respect and admiration.
Part of the team is Catherine Lovatt who works alongside Marc as The Horse Mistress organising everything on and off set and designing the look and feel of the performances by drawing on her fantastical imagination and creative background. Also as a rider and performer in the live shows and well as the researcher and costume designer Catherine is the one to ask if you have any questions!

Our beautiful horses are the real stars of our shows and include the majestic jet black Friesian Stallion Asgard and his best friends Zorro and D’artagnon. Also, our pure white Andalusian Stallion Curioso Maximus and his friends Pegasus and Guinness. And not to be left out we have our gorgeous spotty Appaloosa brothers Harry and Apollo.
