Pet owner? Do you have a first aid kit ready for your furry (or not-so-furry) friend? 🐾 Check out this handy guide from PDSA on must-have items to keep your pet safe and sound 🥰

Every pet owner should own a first aid kit with the items needed to provide first aid for small injuries ⛑️

From treating wounds to knowing what to do if your pet is choking, having the right supplies on hand ensures you can give simple first aid whether you’re at home or out and about.

Your first aid kit should contain:
Bandages
Blunt-ended scissors
Wound wash
Cotton wool
Tweezers
Tick tweezers
Wound dressing
Self-adhesive tape
Dressings
Vinyl gloves
Foil blanket
Antiseptic wipes
A blanket to use as a stretcher.

Once you have given your pet first aid, take them to your vet for a check-up as soon as possible.
