Thanks to all my wonderful customers who have supported me this year, your custom means more than you know ❤️ It's been a tough November and December with cancelled events during what should have been my best trading time of the year. Then to cap it all, came down with a virus and chest infection two weeks ago which triggered my heart condition and I ended up in A & E again 😢 But I refuse to end the year on a negative note! I'm feeling much better after antibiotics and have seen a cardiologist so I'm feeling reassured and have a plan 🥰

I've also got a fab new fragrance to test for the new year and I can't wait to smell it burning! It's fresh, woody, with a hint of herbal..think coastal breeze, strolling along a beach amongst sand dunes and sea plants 🌊🌱 It's also a classic Jo Malone inspired scent...any guesses? 🤔

Does anyone else finish off a good cleaning session with a spray of room fragrance? Room mists are great for that final flourish..or just whenever you want your room to smell amazing. My favourite one at the moment is Dark Honey & Tobacco 🤎 Available to order in all our scent range..and they're refillable too! 🌿

Our story

I have always loved scented candles and melts and used to spend a fortune on well known brands. However I was never able to find any that were good quality AND affordable. Also I wasn't totally happy burning paraffin wax (which lots of candles are made from) and wanted a candle that fitted with my ethos ‘be kind to our planet’. So in 2014 I began making my own candles using natural soy wax. My friends and family loved them..and so my hobby became a little business and Candle Cat was created. (named after myself and my love of candles and cats!). Candle Cat candles (and melts) are beautifully scented and long lasting. All hand poured and made from natural,sustainable soy wax. I use only cotton and linen wicks and recycled packaging materials. No added colour, just the highest quality fragrance oils sourced from UK companies. All my products are also vegan friendly with no animal testing. I sell from my facebook/instagram pages and at local artisan markets and craft events.
