As you know it became law in 2016 for dogs to be microchipped.
A new law is now active that states all cats need to be microchipped by 10th June 2024.
As a guide a typical microchip from us costs £17 in Ipswich or Felixstowe. If you are further away please get in contact for an accurate cost.
We register the microchips, there is nothing for you to do except sit back and relax knowing you and your pet are all safe and legal 🐾

No additional fees and I register all microchips myself so you simply just carry on loving your pets
Don’t forget it will become law early next year that your cats are microchipped but also a gift that lasts a lifetime with the best chances of return if your pet goes missing or heaven forbid ends up in an accident. 🐾

Good morning 🐾 Thank you to everyone that has recommended my services to others. It’s lovely to hear about so many positive experiences clients have had with me 🐾

Wow what a busy week I have had so many puppies successfully microchipped and ready for their forever homes along with lots of wiggly puppies in pregnant belly’s.

Please bare in mind if you need my services to try an book a few weeks in advance as it’s got extremely busy lately and I don’t want to let anyone down. Microchips must be implanted by 8 weeks by the breeders ans the best time to perform an ultrasound is between 28-35 days post mating.

Due to the seriousness and uptake in frequency of puppies and dogs going missing I will no longer be putting pictures up of the pregnancy ultrasounds and litters microchipped.
My customers privacy and the safety of their pets is of utmost importance to me. 🐾
My services have/will resume as per the following

Due to COVID-19 there are changes to the way bookings are placed and procedures are carried out

As of 8th March 2021:

Microchip Bookings will only be made for whole litters of puppies or kittens to be microchipped between 6-8 weeks of age and that are still currently kept with the breeder.

I will be requiring you to fill in the necessary paperwork. This will be sent to you via email, you will need to print and complete it prior to my arrival.

All puppies or kittens must have a name or a different coloured collar on to make them distinguishable.

Once puppies or kittens have been microchipped and registered, it will then be the responsibility of the breeder to transfer the microchip to the new owner via the Petlog website. I will supply the breeder with information on how to do this if unsure, and also leave a leaflet for the new owner to advise them how to receive the microchip transfer.

As some microchipping has not been able to be completed since first lockdown, i will be opening up appointments to microchip any age dog to comply with The Microchipping of Dogs (England) regulations 2015 no 108

Ultrasound bookings can be made for the procedure to take place between 28-38 days post mating.

Where possible, if the breeder could possibly trim any hair on the lower abdomen between the ni***es I would appreciate it. If you are unable it’s not a problem I can. It’s more about cutting time at appointments for everyone’s benefit during these times.

Payment methods have also changed given the current circumstances. Payments can now only be made via bank transfer. This must be the full cost of the procedure, and must be received any time up to 24 hours before your booking. Account details will be given along with of confirmation of booking. All bookings cancelled within the 24 hours prior to appointment will be subject to a 50% charge of the booking cost.

For the safety of both breeder and myself, as we are unable to social distance during appointments, I will be sanitising my hands along with wearing gloves and a face shield. I will strictly only allow 1 person with me during the time of the appointment. Appointments will be carried out as swiftly as possible, but with the utmost respect to both breeders and animals alike.
