Based near Castle Douglas we are one of Scotland's top breeders of Cocker spaniel and Cockapoo puppies. We are approximately an hour and 50 mins from Glasgow, an hour & 20 mins from Ayrshire, 2 hours and 20 mins from Edinburgh and an hour from Carlisle. Many of our dogs live the length and breadth of Britain and include Ayrshire and Arran, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife and Kinross, Dundee, Aberdeen an

It’s a busy old time here just now

Lyras Puppies have all left us - don’t forget guys that your training webinar is on 22/7 @ 7pm with Caroline and Adrian, I will do a WhatsApp group this week to set you all up for it.

This week I had my annual licence inspection and we passed 🥳
In Scotland we don’t have a star rating - it’s just a pass or fail. However it’s a rigorous process to go through to be awarded a licence and I’m grateful our local trading standards inspector was happy.

It’s the summer holidays here just now - I feel like it’s been ages since I did an update of just family life here, I’m hoping to pop up a wee story in the next day or so if just what’s been going on at the farm.

katys puppies are thriving! I’ve popped some photos on of the whole litter. We are doing viewings next weekend.

So a few days ago One of our retired girls passed 😕
Vegas my love you were one of a kind
So much so your life lives on in Elsa, Lyra, Choccy and Melody.
You have given a huge legacy to Boglebrig.
Janet her guardian kindly shared this video of her this morning singing to Golden Brown. It’s the only song she ever sang to - and it’s just one of the many special quirky wee qualities this absolute wee Angel had.
Personally I want to say thankyou to Janet for caring for her so well and giving her such a wonderful life. Thankyou for contacting me when she was poorly and for being so brave with her 🌈

Edgar is 2 today!
Edgar will always hold a special place in my heart.
Due to a freak accident the morning he was supposed to go to his new family I had to make the difficult decision after specialist consultations to ask our vet remove his eye at 10 weeks old.
This is something I had never had to do before and I honestly hope I will never have to do again.
Edgar took it all in his stride his owners Callum and Heather have said it’s never held him back - but my when the vet brought him out post op I broke down in the vets that day for this perfect gorgeous quality pup - It still brings a tear to my eye
Anyhoo it’s all good you would never know looking at him with his cool sidey fringe.
But biggest happiest birthdays to you Edgar much love 😘

Just an update for everybody waiting on puppy news 🥰
Katy’s puppies have arrived (a bit later than expected 🤔) but so far so good - she had a text book whelping and for a first time mum she’s been amazing
I will been in touch with you all in two weeks time with updates once we have our ducks in a row 💕

Who lives in Edinburgh
What a drama we had in this litter, their original puppy they chose randomly hurt his leg and in the end we decided to keep him and run him on here for a wee while so the Davidson family took Wallace instead. Don’t think they have regretted that decision though 🙈 he’s a lovely chap!

I’ve a few emails to reply to mostly clients waiting on photographs - I’m a bit under the weather as I’ve had quite a painful tooth extraction and it’s knocked me for six! Evening all I’m a bit late with my pupdate this week - so sorry for anybody who has been waiting! Yesterday we welcomed Pipers families to come and meet their new family members which was just lovely - I’ve popped another video in if the pups out today in the sunshine - just for a little while though as it was too hot! Fabias puppies are doing great and as you will all see - those light bulbs are starting to switch on now they are so comical at this stage! Unfortunately I have a poorly child just now with a wheezy chest - who ended up on a nebuliser at the weekend in A & E so if you have messaged me about availability in Fabias litter and I’ve not responded please pop me another email 💕 sorry if I have missed you Chirstie
