Surgeon has just been in to see me. He has offered me stent or bypass and I've to let him know in the morning after I speak to family etc. I won't be getting the opp until next week and they are keeping me in until then. 😘

Talking Dog For Sale
A guy is driving around the backroads of Stranraer and he sees a sign in front of a broken down house: 'Talking Dog For Sale.'
He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.
The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador Retriever sitting there.
"You talk?" he asks.
"Yep" the Lab replies.
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says, "So, what's your story?"
The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told MI6. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping, I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running... but the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
"Ten dollars" the guy says.
"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on Earth are you selling him so cheap?"
"Because he's a liar. He's never been out of the yard."

Unfortunately, from the 1st of February, XL Bullies and other dogs that fit the Government's type will be illegal.

You'll have to comply with the Government's rules for keeping an exempted dog, including neutering and microchipping your dog. They'll have to be kept on a lead and muzzled at all times when in a public place.

For insurance reasons, we can only accept XL Bully dogs from 1st February if they're fully compliant with all the restrictions.

If you need to come to us for any reason, whether it's for 1-1 dog sitting, to attend dog training classes or get your dog groomed, you'll need to abide by the rules.

That means giving us a copy of your exemption certificate and keeping the dog on a lead and muzzled at all times.

We all understand how stupid this ban is, but for the safety of all dogs that fall under the type, we need to comply.

We are working hard to provide muzzle training advice and training equipment for XL bullies, including muzzles and printed bandanas telling people that your dog is friendly.

We know how tough it is, but we're here for you every step of the way!
