NEWS! Jose Rodriguez Civico will travel with his famous horse Jaleo to the Festival this year. This exceptional horseman is successful in many disciplines. Pepe will be seen in the Fire, Fado, Flamenco Fantasia on Thursday and Friday night with Rebeca Ortega Flamenco. Masterclasses every day will have a mix of Garrocha, Doma Vaquera and Working Equitation depending on what daytime competitors want to work on, and Pepe will be available throughout to meet and greet. And finally, very excitingly, Pepe will also compete in the Working Equitation competition run by The Association for British Working Equitation. Pepe has twice been the national champion of Spain in working Equitation and has ridden on the Spanish team many times. How lovely to see such an accomplished competitor go head to head with some of the best UK riders here on English soil

Meji takes shine to a whole new level, all thanks to Honest Riders 🌟
This year I made a vow to use more natural, sustainable products for both myself and Meji. I found that standard coat sprays from the tack shop left all of my brushes sticky, and the dust would cling to Meji within minutes. He was super itchy, and his dandruff made a return after a winter of consistently damp weather! After trying lots of products from my local tack shop, I actually came to find that so many products made Meji more itchy and dirty… one product was actually targeted for itchy horses and the next day he’d rubbed himself raw!
So, enough was enough, and I decided to invest in some natural products to restore the natural balance of his skin.
From January Meji has been using:
• EqWax Neem Wonder Oil — to help his itchy areas
• Goodbye Flys 6 in 1 spray — a natural fly repellent that I have also found to be fantastic at hydrating his skin and hair. I first found this product about 3 years ago, and I forgot how amazing it was!
• Honest Horse Shampoo Bar — I can’t remember what one now as I have had it for so long, but honestly I didn’t expect a shampoo bar to work so well! Super lather, and Meji always feels clean afterwards.
• Honest Horse Hoof Shine — amazing for maintaining the hydration of the hoof and protecting from the environment. (I use the Aloe Hoof from Well Gel if it’s very dry!)
• Red Horse Products Sole Cleanse — fantastic for when the weather gets a bit wet and his feet need a bit of a hand to keep fresh!
These are just a few of the products I have been using from their website, and they have all very quickly become staples in Meji’s beauty kit!
