I'm Lucy and have a lifelong passion for and affinity with animals, having grown up surrounded by them. When I was young, I wanted to be a vet but sadly didn't listen to my heart! After a breast cancer diagnosis at a young age and 21 years of working in the Corporate Rat Race, I decided it was time to follow my heart and do something I love that I could put my heart and soul into. hen I took an unpaid sabbatical of 6 months from my previous job and took off to the Greek island of Skiathos with my then 3 beautiful cats, to volunteer for a cat charity and a dog charity there. I have supported them for many years during holiday visits and wanted to be able to devote more time to helping them. One of my cats is a rescue from there, so she took a trip back to her homeland! I also have lots of experience looking after friends' animals over the years. I offer:
- dog-walking (Group or one-on-one options - maximum 4 dogs in a group walk),
- pop-in pet-sitting to feed/care for cats or other small animals (up to 30 minute visit to include feeding, cleaning, pampering, administering medication and other small house-sitting tasks
- pet transport e.g. to vet/groomer
Your pet(s) will be treated with the same love and care that my own cats receive. I am fully insured and DBS-checked and can provide references on request.
