Bluebells season 💙💙💙

We are so happy to say, especially being dog trainers 😂, they Spring is full on and there will be less mud in our lives 😂

Some of our dogs/ trainees were taken for a photoshoot into a bluebell forest 💙 and practiced stays with distractions 😉 isn't the result beautiful? 💙

🌟As many of you know, Lila and our trainers have been working hard over the past few years developing our assistance dog course and working closely with TAP Assistance Dogs 🐶

In 2024 as a company we decided to do more
✨ Introducing the Temperament Assistance Dog Foundation✨
where our aim is to raise funds to help families towards their Assistance Dog journeys 💙

To launch our charity we decided to donate the whole training for one lucky pup 🤩 and after talking with many families we found the perfect match. Not only will this special pup belong to a little boy called Monty but he will also attend nursery with his mum. We are so excited for Monty and his family!

We cannot say a big enough thank you to Hayley and TAP for being forever supportive 🙌- without them we wouldn’t have seen the need for providing people with more access to this service, especially with their existing dogs ❤️

We ask you all to support us on our very special journey. We will be holding more classes and workshops to raise money for our special cause, so come join our community and start spreading the word!💙💜❤️

This handsome boy is looking for his forever home! ❤️🐶🏡

Meet Bruce - he's a very likely a Shepherd x Bully Type cross that is around 1,5 years old. 🐕‍🦺

He's looking for a responsible owner that is going to know the type of breed he is and understands their needs and will give him a safe, structured environment. Bruce loves training, is very foody and adores playing with toys 🎾. He has a strong need for mental and physical stimultion so he could be a great dog to do some fun sports with! He is able to relax at home.

Bruce really likes other dogs and has been around them but gets a little overexcited at times and wants to greet them! He is very sociable and a bit bouncy with people but again needs clear rules as he's a big and strong dog! He will bark at strangers at times but with people that he properly meets he's a sweet softy and a cuddle monster!

He's had extensive training - he has learnt loose lead walking, responding to name, sit, down, stay and leave as well as he is able to work around distractions. Nevertheless, because of his energy and temperament he needs his owners to keep up with the training as he can be reactive in a busy London enviroment.That could be very much different if he lived in a quieter area though 🌳🌳Additional training is going to be provided to help the right owners!

The prospective owners will need to sign an adoption agreement.

Meet Bentley.

He is a 6 months old Golden Retriever puppy.and he's staying with Mags for 2 weeks on our Puppy Course. Bentley will be focusing on:
- door manner / crate manner
- walking nicely on lead
- recall
- ability to relax at home

Mags about Bentley:
"He is an incredibly smart dog. He is also very enthusiastic and lively, he is constantly on the move. Will do everything for food, so learns very quickly. An absolute gem, I love him already 😊😍

Meet Lula.

In 2020 she came to the UK from Romanian Rescue Centre as a 4 month old puppy.
She's staying with Mags for 4 weeks on our Reactive Course and will be focusing on:
- calm behavior around children
- ignoring loud noises
- non-reactive behaviors around dogs
- improving her self confidence

Mags about Lula:
"She is a very shy and sweet girl with a lot of troubles. We are working hard to make her more brave and confident. We are visiting a lot of different places, meeting a lot of different people and dogs everyday. We are also practicing the Bravery Boost program. We are very busy :)". ❤️

Meet Kodakk! 🐕

He is a 5month old American Bully puppy and is staying with Poppy for 3 weeks on our Perfect Puppy package to set good foundations for his training.

Poppy will be working on:
⭐️ Not jumping up
⭐️Walking nicely on the lead
⭐️Obedience exercises
⭐️Working around distractions of other people and dogs

Poppy about Kodakk: Kodakk is great fun to work with, he loves to play and learn! I'm sure he will pick up the new behaviours very quickly! He is a very friendly boy so we will be working on him not saying hello to every dog and person. As he is already very big, good foundations are important to ensure he grows into a well mannered adult dog ❤️

Meet Milo ! 🐾🐕

He's a 1 year old Labradoodle and is staying with Lila for 3 weeks on our SOS to work on obedience and some bahavioural challenges.

Lila will be working on:

⭐ Mouthing, nipping & barking for attention and out of frustration.
⭐ Stealing food from the table
⭐ Jumping up
⭐ Recall

Lila about Milo: 'Even though Milo does not pull on the lead much and might seem fairly calm he needs quite a lot of training! I will definitely need to work on his motivation to train and listen as well as work on the habits that are already in place such as barking and nipping. This will be a fun challenge for me!'

Meet Loki.

He is an 11 months old cocker spaniel, and he's staying with Mags on our Re-active course.

He's staying with Mags for 4 weeks and will be focusing on:
❄️ aggressive behaviour towards people
❄️ biting when being handled
❄️ resource guarding
❄️ excessive barking
❄️ pulling on the lead

Mags about Loki:
"He is truly a god of Mischief 🙃. Loki is the sweetest and the cutest boy ever with really serious aggression issues. I am focusing on showing him what he can play with (toys) and what he can't play with (human hands, clothes, shoes, etc.). Also, I show him how to say "no" in an acceptable way when he doesn't want to be brushed or touched, instead of creating chaos and losing himself in aggressive behaviours. Loki is very smart, and he is a really nice puppy. We will have a lot of fun together."

He's a Working Cocker and is staying with Lila for 3 weeks on our SOS to work on obedience and minor behavioural challenges.

Lila will be working hard to help with:

⭐ Mouthing & growling for attention and out of frustration.

⭐ Resource guarding
⭐ Recall
⭐ Pulling on lead

Lila about Uno: 'Uno is a very sweet but complex dog. He performs a lot of boisterous behaviours but underneath he's a very sensitive dog that gets overwhelmed a lot. I'll need to work on his obedience so he understands the cues very well but also his confidence.'

Meet Mae. 🐶

She is a two and a half years old rottweiler and she's staying with Mags on our Re-active course.

🌟She's staying with Mags for 4 weeks and will be focusing on:
- reactivity towards other dogs
- growling / barking at people
- responding to commands
- walking nicely on the lead
- not begging at the table
- waiting for a command when leaving the car / house

Mags about Mae:🐾
"Mae is a very strong girl. Mentally and physically, she is a typical rottweiler. Her way or no way. Luckily I know rottweilers, I’ve been handling them since I was 16 y.o. With love and respect I’m showing her that she doesn’t need to take care about the whole world. She can put trust in me and we can work things out together. I’ve got a feeling that we will be best friends soon.”❤️🐶

Meet Reuben 🐶❤️

He is a 15 month old GSP and he's staying with Mags on our SOS course.

He's staying with Mags for 4 weeks and will be focusing on:
- not jumping at people
- walking nicely on the lead
- not barking
- responding to commands

Mags about Reuben:
"He is a very energetic boy and he's strong like an ox, so his loose lead walking is an absolute priority for us. Reuben is very intelligent and learns very quickly. He's got real potential to be a sport dog! He can focus on the task even with a whole bunch of distractions thrown at him. And I've got a lot of distraction ideas up my sleeve 🙃".

Meet Rolo ! 🐾🐶🐑

He's a young border collie from quite famous sheepdog lines and is staying with Lila to work on our Re-Active course.

He's staying with us for 4 weeks, and Lila will be working hard to help with:

⭐ Reactivity toward other dogs
⭐ Reactivity towards skaters, bikes, cars etc.
⭐ Nipping
⭐ Begging

Lila about Rolo: 'We hit it off straight away on day one! But what can I say - I usually do get on well with border collies 😉 He's a challenging dog but super fun to train! '

We want say say a huge warm welcome to our new white 🤍 belt trainer Mags. She has already started her first residential for us and is available for bookings. 🥳

Dogs have been an important part of Mags' life since she began to walk and talk. She was 6 years old when she started to train her first dog to heel, sit and lie down.

She was 16 y.o., when she passed her first obedience exam with her first rottie. Then, her journey began. Her third rottie passed 6 international obedience exams and 4 working tests.

In 2005 she discovered a world of dog sport. She participated in agility, FCI obedience and Rally-O trials with her dogs. Recently she fell in love with IGP and became the newest member of the TNT team ❤️❤️

Meet Hamish, staying with Alex on our reactive course. Whilst with Alex, Hamish will focus on learning:

🌟 not to bark for attention
🌟being calmer around other dogs
🌟not to steal food
🌟to settle in the house

What Alex had to say:

“Hamish is settling in well and we are getting along with each other. Has was also fairly calm for first night , a little bit of barking here and there but nothing excessive. He however reacted to some nosies during a day which we will work on.

On the walks he is playing with my dog so finally he has equal playing partner and a new friend to start learning our dog manners around.”

Meet Biba and Luna ! 🐾💕 (Biba pink collar, Luna purple collar)

They are 1.5-year-old Working line Labradors and are staying with Poppy to work on our SOS course

They are staying with Poppy for 4 weeks, and will be focusing on:

⭐ Not jumping up at people
⭐ Recall training

Poppy about Biba and Luna: 'They are such sweet dogs they learn very quickly! Now I have built up their motivation for food they love learning and training and have made great progress already on their obedience exercises.

Her residential will focus on heel works, leave it, jumping up and socialisation as she can be a bit nervous.

Meet Bowie 🐶🐾🦴 Staying with Alex on a 3 week SOS residential
What Alex has to say:

Bowie is fully settled and we get
along with each other. He gets along very well with Fufiq, my dog as well :) he is a great puppy and I really enjoy having him in my house as well as our training sessions.
During the first week I focused on building a bond and relationships, building motivation for work and laying obedience foundations.
When we are in non distraction environment Bowie is doing amazing but he struggles in new places and with distractions. However this is very normal at this stage and I’m not worried by that at all. 🐶🐾❤️
