Fantastic course to do!

Great feedback coming through after our first Mind Body Bowen workshop in Scotland with visiting instructors Margaret Spicer and Vianne Macbeth.
Much-anticipated here in the UK, this highly-regarded CPD training opportunity has been well received around the world and we are thrilled to be able to welcome them here.
Since their stay in Fife, they have travelled down to London for the second workshop this weekend (October 26-27).
Special thanks to our BTUK colleague Nicola Hok for co-ordinating this trip.
We are planning to invite more overseas instructors to the UK next year so watch this space.

£80 per person!

Health and Safety Executive approved one day Emergency First Aid at work.
This course is accredited through Work Safe training. Nickatie Morgan will be taking this class and is one of their approved instructors.
Students will all receive a first aid book, instruction in the use of defibrillators as well as resuscitation, major bleed training, etc.
Nickatie runs her courses in a fun and informative manner.

What a super day! Started by treating Bento in his stables and then watching Judy Harvey compete in the freestyle PSG gold. They did an amazing test and came 3rd. So fabulous! Fingers crossed for tomorrow’s Inter 1.
The team with Judy are fabulous too!

I will be offering courses in Herefordshire and around the country to Bowen Therapists through Bowen Training UK

How fascinating! For those of you who just think bone is bone and is “hard” tissue. Imagine how fracturing bones affects their matrix. Look at something like Bowen to help repair.

A new study finds the key role of bone in regulating the fight or flight response. In response to alarm signals from the brain, nerves within bone release osteocalcin, which immediately lowers the parasympathetic "brake" and lets the fight or flight response take over!

This research is no surprise to anyone that studies or works with fascia, the connective tissue network of the body that is especially dense around the muscles. Fascia is known to play a huge role in the fight or flight nervous system and is also continuous with bone.

Although we think of bone as "solid," 20% of it is actually water, and electrical charges and movement of this water transmits mechanical messages through bone, just like it does through fascia. In fact some scientists call bone "mineralized fascia."

It is fascinating to see how scientists are unravelling the complex interplay between the nervous and musculoskeletal systems!

Well this superstar horse of a lifetime has not only got us a wildcard for the Riding Club dressage to music champs at novice but also a wildcard for the Petplan elementary bronze dressage to music too. How lucky am I. And then in the next breath she becomes an RDA horse supreme for Lucas. ❤️❤️
