15th September - Full day Tracking/Trailing with Liz Halliwell from Atomic K9 Mantrailing
Mantrailing Liz is a fellow Level 2 Scent Imprint for Dogs Tracking/Trailing Instructor along with plenty of tracking and trailing experience.
Liz is also a Mantrailing Global instructor & assessor and has travelled all over the world for workshops to learn more about different methods of Mantrailing and Tracking/Trailing.
This full day workshop is limited to just 6 teams, you will be getting both myself and Liz instructing you throughout the day.

This week Iāve been away in Holland working hands on with dogs and Wesley completing Scent imprint for dogs Level 2 Tracking/Trailing instructor course.
Iāll always choose practical hands on courses where I can as nothing beats it!
The instant feedback, the real world training (reacting when things donāt go to plan) and ultimately you canāt beat that feeling of the line in your hand!

Out of Office!
I'm away on a work trip this week until Friday 23rd of August, while I will be able to respond to any emails or Facebook messages (I'm not taking my work phone so please email me this week) there might be a delay

Why I love settle!
In my classes I put a huge emphasis on settle, I honestly think itās an understated cue for dogs.
Raven has known how to settle since day 1 with me, meaning when needed sheāll quite happily offer this behaviour anywhereā¦ such as yesterday when we decided to pop out for lunch!

I've got three different introduction workshops in three different sports coming up in August and September. All these workshops are suitable for any age and breed.
Dogs are worked at one at a time in them all as well meaning dogs that need a bit more space are most welcome.

Scent Detection Introduction Workshop!
This is the first step of your journey, this introductory workshop will cover the foundations of Scent Detection and get you and your dog started.
Your instructor is a fully accredited and experienced with over eight years of teaching.
There is no age limit, open to all breeds and no previous training is needed at all!
Dogs will be worked one at a time so reactive or nervous dogs are most welcome, this does mean that dogs need to be happy staying in their vehicles when it is not their turn.

More hard surface tracking/trailing for both Indie & Raven! Indie has really surprised me recently with how good she is at this, sheās not the most motivated dog however itās all about finding the right reinforcements! Raven initially really struggled with hard surfaces but with more practice sheās getting the hang of itā¦
Raven just off for a swim š¤·š»āāļø Had to call her back otherwise sheād have ended up on the other side š¤£
A bit of hard surface tracking for Indie! This is the first time Indie has done hard surface tracking, to make it āeasierā for her you can see Iām using blue articles. Blue is a colour dogs can see easily and just helps her learn the benefits of finding the articles. Normally Iād have had food on them as well but the crows were waiting š Like most things with me, I spend a lot of time behind the scenes working on what Iām teaching, Iām a huge believer in practicing what I teach!

@pintheparkevents weekend was a HUGE success!! Over the weekend between myself and my amazing helpers we seen hundreds of owners and their amazing dogs, having a go at Scent Detection and learning all about the benefits! Such a variety of dogs from little ones to big ones and all ages from 11 week old puppies to 14+ year old dogs all having a goā¦ Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted over the weekend! #pinthepark #pinthepark2024
