🚨🌀LIFE-THREATENING STORM IN THE UK🌀🚨

Forecasters in Ireland and the UK issue Red Warnings ahead of Storm Eowyn spiraling in from the Atlantic bringing the threat of CATEGORY 4 HURRICANE TYPE - force winds with highest wind gusts possibly over 130 mph.

Expect heavy rain, snow, and significant storm surge, starting late tonight!

Storm Éowyn's central pressure is around 955 hPa right now. It will drop into the upper 930s by dawn tomorrow, a pressure generally seen in a Category 4 hurricane.

Expect significant and widespread power outages.

Nothing says "this is going to be a very bad storm" like the arrival of the Hurricane Hunters & NOAA42 KERMIT amid predictions Eowyn could shatter wind records.

The strongest winds and most significant impacts are likely in Northern Ireland and central and southwestern parts of Scotland
