These two fabulous dogs were surrendered by their owners to the Municipal pound. We cannot imagine why because they’re just lovely! We rescued them from the pound along with 8 other dogs at the beginning of November and it became immediately obvious to us that they have a strong bond. We made the decision to try and find them a home together if we can.
Jasper looks like a spaniel or retriever cross and has a beautiful golden coat. He's affectionate, playful and friendly. He hangs back a little at first with people that he doesn't know, but once he's established you're a friend he comes for a cuddle.
Clem is the more confident of the two dogs and is also a friendly and affectionate dog. When they're out in the yard together they enjoy charging around and playing but will always check in with the humans and come for cuddles and a fuss.
Jasper and Clem share a kennel and have no issue eating together. They're a really sweet pair of dogs and we hope that someone out there will offer them a home together. We will be offering a special adoption package for the pair.

The fabulous Mr. Tuxedo is one of 10 dogs that we rescued from one of the biggest municipal pounds at the beginning of November. At the pound he was in one of the communal pens with a number of other dogs. He was being a bit bullied by some of the other dogs so is cautious initially with new dogs.
This gorgeous, big eared boy charmed us from the very beginning. He is an extremely well-mannered, gentle natured young dog. He gets on with other dogs, wags his tail non-stop at humans, takes treats gently and walks well on a lead.
Tux is only around 2 years old, but he has the calm energy of an older dog. He’s playful and super friendly, but he isn’t bouncy or over-enthusiastic. I’m sure that you can tell how much we love this boy!
We believe that Tux would be a good fit to any family and will be a really lovely companion and loyal friend.

Everyone who sees Bobbie literally gasps at how gorgeous she is! She is one of 10 dogs that we rescued from an overcrowded municipal pound at the beginning of November. She was in a pen with a number of other dogs and although there was no fighting, it was obviously quite overwhelming for her.
When we brought her to the sanctuary and she had her own big kennel and a large yard to run around in, the transformation was almost immediate! Even her coat seemed shinier.
Bobbie is the wiggliest waggliest girl! Her whole body moves with her happy waggy tail. She is a typical German Pointer; smart, active, affectionate and funny. She will need an active home, prepared to exercise her both physically and mentally. She'll enjoy enrichment games and nice long walks. Some working breed knowledge or experience is preferable.
Bobbie is always in motion when we let her out into the yard at the sanctuary, running, playing, sniffing… She’s definitely an active girl, but our German Pointer adopters also claim that they are very good at relaxing and snoozing when they're at home, as long as they've had their exercise 😊
It's likely that Bobbie has a high prey drive, so a home with cats or rabbits isn't advisable.
Bobbie is a really lovely young dog that we think will adjust well in the right home. From what we've seen she could definitely join a home with another resident dog.

I can't tell you how lovely this boy is! He's just super and someone will be very lucky to adopt him ☺️
Ollie was rescued in mid June by Constantina from a remote location. A yard where dogs had been accumulating with little access to water or food. After a couple of visits delivering supplies and giving the dogs worming pills and flea treatments, she identified two dogs that she was able to rescue and gorgeous Ollie was one of them.
Ollie is so friendly, calm and has the sweetest nature. He is well socialised with other dogs and he lived and ate alongside cats in the yard where he lives. We believe that he could be rehomed with a cat and could definitely join a home with another resident dog.
Ollie has been child tested and passed with flying colours. He has a naturally gentle nature that comes across very quickly when you meet him.
This young boy is a real catch! He's still young, smart and highly trainable as well. 🤓
