☀️🐾 HOT DAY TIP: Keep Your Pet Hydrated! 🐶🐱💧

Temps are rising, and so is the risk of heatstroke in our furry friends. Make sure they’re getting plenty of water throughout the day! 💦

Why it matters:
✅ Prevents overheating
✅ Keeps organs healthy
✅ Aids digestion
✅ Helps cool them down naturally
✅ Fights fatigue & dehydration

Pro Tips:
🧊 Add ice cubes to their bowl
🚶‍♀️ Bring water on walks and only pets in the morning & evening when it is less hot
🍽️ Mix water into dry food
🏡 Keep water in shady spots

A little hydration goes a long way. Keep tails wagging and whiskers happy! 💙

Today we celebrate the incredible rescue pets who didn’t just find homes… they found families. 🏡

Every year across the UK, thousands of dogs and cats are rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed, while rescue centres here in Northern Ireland continue to work tirelessly to care for abandoned and unwanted pets searching for their forever homes. 💔➡️❤️
